The Eidolon series is full of lethal, alpha protectors with hearts of gold. When they find the woman of their dreams, they fall hard. Of course they have to save her from the danger in her life first. Mitch is the latest book in this series, and I loved it. Maddie Wade writes characters that feel like a family. It is so much fun to read about them. Fate brings Autumn to rent the apartment that Mitch has available. Mitch rescues Autumn who is on the run from the men that killed her husband. Her adorable daughter also steals Mitch’s heart. The page turning, suspenseful story makes the book fly by. The women of Eidolon are strong and fierce, and they give their men a run for their money. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

I love how Mitch fall in with autumn and Maggie so fast that from the first meeting them he was going to protecting them from anyone who want to hurt them both. Thank you again Maddie wade for a beautiful and great story. Mitch is My hero because he reminds me of my husband who fall in with my Daughter when we meeting for the first she was three month old from that day on she was his daughter to look after and care for that day I fall in love with him. We got married 6th month later and two more daughters. he love all three of them same and we been married know for 28th year any count. So thank you for this story.

Intrigue and secrets are big in this exciting new book in this series, it has some action and excitement along the way. The main thing I took from this was not one but two characters being strong enough to change their lives from what fates journey had started them on, for Mitch he had help in the form of his mother and her strength to move them away from the life he was heading for. For Autumn she didn't really have a choice if she wanted her and Maggie to live, but when faced with a chance to have so much more, would she have faith and trust enough to take it. I am more than happy to reccomend not just this book but all Maddie's books, I suggest starting with her other series and working through because the characters, the plots and various agencies do cross over and work together. I fall in love with each and every one of these guys and the women, they make me want to know them and have them as friends, make me feel I want to be a member of this family, they might not all be blood but they are stronger than that. There are some really sweet moments in this book especially the ones between Mitch and Maggie that had my heart truelly melt into a puddle of mush, so wonderful they had me captivated.

Autumn Roberts comes to rent the apartment on the third floor across from his apartment and the attraction is immediate for Mitch. Her background check shows she is in witness protection, but he is willing to rent to her and let her tell her story when she is ready.
The plot is evolving on the threat to Eidolon, with Gunner's information gathering. The murder of Autumn's husband leads back to Mitch's old gang from his youth and with Autumn's revelation the action starts and danger is at several locations at the same time. Maggie, Autumn's five month old daughter is a great for Mitch and a sweet baby no one can resist.

I loved this book! I am crazy about Mitch and Autumn’s story. Both are strong characters that you can’t help but love. They both stand up and fight for what they believe in. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are perfect for each other. Mitch is the kind of man most women dream about. Thoughtful, sexy, loving and a protector. Autumn is a survivor, who finds herself in witness protection. She is strong and intelligent. She is also a single mother. This is a story about friendship and love. A really enjoyable read with some of my favorite characters from other books. A really good read. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Mitch is the fifth book in the fantastic Eidolon Black Ops novels -it is possible to read and enjoy it without reading the others first, as although other team members are involved enough additional information about them is written seamlessly into the storyline to keep the reader informed. After buying a Victorian house divided into flats Mitch lets out some to friends and colleagues, then shows the remaining one to a young widow, Autumn and her five month old daughter, Maggie. The attraction between Autumn and Mitch is immediate, and their relationship grows rapidly. Autumn,though, has a secret, and Mitch and his teamates do everything in their power to ensure their safety. This is a fast paced book, with unexpected twists and turns, insights into Mitch’s childhood, and further demonstrates how close the Eidolon team are. Recommended to all, whether you are already a Eidolon Black Ops fan or new to the Team.

Wow, wow, wow, I absolutely devoured this book over two days, just couldn't put it down. This is the fifth book in this stunning romantic suspense series. And take my word on it, they get better and better.
It follows a group of men stationed in Hereford, where I live, so I might be a tad biased here. This is Mitch's story. The way he meets Autumn and Maggie is perfect. Autumn has been to Hell and back over the past year or so. I followed their relationship with excitement and at times with my heart in my mouth when things started to go wrong. To say more would give the game away.
Can't wait to read the next instalment in this fabulous series.

Mitch is the fifth Eidolon Black Ops Novel and did not disappoint. Mitch Quinn is the “grandfather” of the group being the oldest and has become content in his single life until he rents the empty apartment across from his to a younger widow, Autumn Roberts, and her 5 month old daughter Maggie. From his first encounter with her Mitch is a goner. Autumn has secrets though and danger is not far off. Mitch and the Eidolon men will need to do what they do best to keep Autumn and her daughter safe. This book is one that will be hard to put down and will leave you smiling at the end.

There is a quote from the story: "These men are fierce protectors. They work hard, play hard, and are the most loyal you'll ever find. When they make any kind of commitment to be there, to protect you or to love you, they take it seriously. What they aren't is great at accepting that they can't control everything." Mitch is the perfect example of this. Right from the beginning, Autumn and baby Maggie stole his heart, grabbed his protective instincts and made him see that life as a bachelor was not what he wanted at all.

Super Sensational Suspense Romance .

It's full of action and suspense and definitely love . This is an Eidolon black ops book .
Autumn Roberts is in danger she fears for her and her daughters life . She really couldn't of found a better and safer place then in Mitch Quinn's apartment building . Mitch is immediately attracted to her and her daughter is an added bonus . Mitch knows she has secrets and hopes she will trust him with them before it's to late . Will she lose her future with Mitch . I really enjoyed reading this story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

I really enjoyed learning more about Mitch. Autumn and Maggie are perfect for him. A strong sexy momma bear, and an adorable little girl for a rough and tough man. Perfect. They both have secrets from their pasts that they need to overcome to have the relationship that they both so desperately want. Mitch finds more than he had ever hoped to find and Autumn gets more family than she ever thought she would have again. If they can just get through the danger together

A new book in the Eidolon series, this time it's Mitch's turn for love! He meets Autumn when she moves into his building, and instantly has a connection with her, and her daughter Maggie.
Autumn is in hiding from some bad people, and when it seems she's been found, Mitch and his friends/co-workers do whatever they can to keep her safe.
This was another sweet romance, with the suspense and action we love from Maddie Wade. I look forward to the next one!

I absolutely loved this book! Action packed had me in the edge of my seat! I fell in love with these two. Little Maggie stole the show. This book has all the feels. I had a smile on my face after I was done. Great work Ms Wade keep up the great work! I highly recommend this book and series!

Mitch Quinn is the 5th book in the Eidolon series and Maddie wade did it justice as we know the men of Eidolon are all Alpha badasses and teddy bears to the women they love but when Autumn Roberts shows up wanting to rest a place mitch finds himself wanting her their and her baby girl Maggie too. He knows she's keeping something from him but is giving her time to tell her story. When her past comes back can Mitch protect and save her and Maggie? I absolutely fell in love with mitch and the storyline flowed from the beginning until the end. These men of Eidolon are absolutely freaking Amazing and just love each one of them and their stories

I loved this book. Mitch and Autumn are so much alike yet very different. Autumn had such a hard road to travel leading up to meeting Mitch, and he is always the protector just like the other Eidolon men. There are lots of twists and plot building throughout the story, which I love. The WAG group is my favorite. I love when the ladies get together and welcome in a new member. It’s also nice to see characters from the Fortis group woven into the storyline. The only negative to finishing this book is having to wait for the next one to come out.

Read this book ad part of the ARC reading group. Love Maddie Wade's character portrayal. He men are strong but equally so are her female characters. In this book, there is intrigue, romance, and unusual family dynamics from an elite black ops group that are more involved and protect each other better than some biological families. There is also scorching sexual chemistry!!!! Each member of the team play a vitally important role always under the strong leadership of Jack. I highly recommend this book in the Eidolon series. Start with book 1 so you get to know all the people.

Maddie always seems to amaze me with her stories. I love Mitch he is so sweet. Amber and Maggie are a great and lethal combination for Mitch he didn’t stand a chance. The suspense is as always keeping me on edge and if I could give it 6 or 7 stars I would. I highly recommend reading this book. And this series if you love romantic suspense. I got an ARC for an honest review. Well this is my honest opinion.

Mitch and Autumn's story has written in the stars all over it, as two pasts collide in an unforeseen way in their present. Autumn had luck on her side as she's placed in Mitch's path, which means also gaining not only his protection and support but that of all of Eidolon as danger stalks her and her baby. As fate would have it, an unexpected love also springs amongst the bad, giving these two an HEA after all the action and suspense is over. Carl Mason's narration brings the story to life.

Oh Mitch! Every time a new one of these delectable Alphas is given their own story I fall in love!
Mitch is no exception. He might be the ‘old man’ of the team but he’s not slowing down. Resigned to the single life he’s been happy for his friends and comrades as they find their soul mates and love changes their outlooks, but he didn’t know that Autumn Roberts was destined to come his way.
Autumn has been through hell and back but with her daughter Maggie she’s determined to live and fight for a life she deserves.
But we know that things are never straightforward in Hereford and once Mitch has decided that she’s the one regardless of where she’s come from and what she’s faced there’s no escaping or losing this protector.
As with all of Maddie’s Alphas, Mitch has his background which shines a light on his actions and I always love how she weaves these into the storylines of not just the book in question but the entire series.
I don’t want to give you any spoilers just know that as usual there’s love, action and everything in between and that the Eidolon boys will come out the other side as close as ever and with an extra reason to continue their job of protecting not just their family but Queen and country.
As a Herefordian (adopted) my only issue is which house Mitch renovated on the hill on the way to the shops? 😉

Operative Mitch Quinn liked the look of Autumn Roberts. When she came to see the apartment he’d readied for occupancy but when he walked in on her nursing her 5-month-old daughter, he was in love. Autumn liked Mitch at first sight but the last man betrayed her then was murdered before her eyes. Mitch and the team knew Autumn was in Witness Protection but didn’t know why, he hoped she’d tell him as their romance progressed and he had every intention they’d have a romance.
As Mitch and Autumn’s are on a date, Autumn receives a call from her husband’s brother-in-law/partner in crime. Mitch gets Autum in front of the team, as she talks Mitch realizes he has ties to the murderer looking for her. Meanwhile, Gunner comes through with info on the high-level traitor but his team isn’t ready to welcome him back with open arms as the team is taken off primary royal bodyguard duty.

Mitch Mitch Mitch or should I say yum yum yum! The next in the Eidolon Black ops series is another winner for me.
Maddie Wade has a real knack for taking strong, handsome, sexy, alpha males and showing us their softer more caring side.
Mitch is completely won over by Autumn, a widow and new mother that is in trouble beyond even her own comprehension.
With the help of his team mates Mitch is determined to prevent any harm befalling either of his two girls, baby Maggie being a huge "awwwwww" factor in this book.
Once again Maddie provides us with everything you need in a story, great characters, exciting storyline, twists, turns, the way Mitch's past clashes with his present adds to the drama beautifully.
Maddie Wade has skillfully added to her ever growing Fortis/ Ediolon family tree, and as a genuine fan I could not be happier.

As the story progresses help is offered and reluctantly accepted, their pasts have a common thread, and getting to the root of the problem does not have to guarantee a happy ending. Maddie Wade has given the reader exactly what they like in this great romantic suspense book. Mitch provides a hard alpha male with a soft center and Autumn is the perfect woman for him. I can’t wait to see which Eidolon member falls in love next.

I enjoyed Mitch and Autumn's story. I loved the way Mitch behaved with Maggie. I also liked the way he took his time developing his relationship with Autumn.
The book had some action, danger, suspense, and a bit of intrigue. There was some brewing in the background and I didn't know what it was, until I did.
Although Mitch had some issues from his past, I appreciated there was not a ton of angst on his part associated with those issues. This was a nicely paced book that could be read in one sitting.
I have completely read this series out of order, unintentionally, but that has not lessened my enjoyment.

An amazing must read story to the series. Mitch and Autumn story’s past life’s try to catch up with them both can they both survive it only just releasing the meaning of love and wanting more with Autumn Mitch will risk it all to hold her again. I couldn’t put this down these Eidolon men are hot with stories that will grab you making you feel like you know them all every book gives you a little insight to all the other characters and sneaks in some new ones that you know you’ll want to read they’re story as well. I can’t recommend this series and author enough you’ll be hooked.

Yet another spectacular book from The Eidolon series. Maddie Wade gives us characters that we want to know, characters that we care what happens to them. I always say that her Fortis series has a family feel to it and now I can add that the Eidolon branch of the family just gets stronger with each book. Mitch and Autumn take us on a sensational, romantic, suspenseful journey and little Maggie is simply adorable. If you like fast paced stories packed with action, intrigue and with a whole lot of alphamaleness then I highly recommend that you read this book.

Being the "old man" of the Eidolon team, Mitch figured his chances for finding his "one" had passed him by. Yet, when Autumn showed up as a prospective renter he was both interested and intrigued. Autumn is trying to find some normalcy for her and her baby girl Maggie. Mitch almost stole her breath away but she has too much baggage to get involved with anyone. They both fall hard and fast but before they can get to an HEA, their respective pasts come back to pose serious threats. The team must move quickly to stop a nefarious plot that could become a catastrophic event.

I really enjoyed the story but ...
... I didn't enjoy the audio.
Single mom in witness protection, POC, slow burn
Loved Mitch and Autumn (and Maggie), their chemistry was perfect. The suspense plot line was interesting and kept me listening.
I do recommend reading this series in order, but it can be a standalone.
Narration - Carl Mason has a great voice but I had to speed up the narration a lot more than usual.
Production needs to be proofed again. Lots of long pauses and repeated sentences - unfortunately, these really distracted me from the story and since they were throughout the audio it was hard to overlook -3 stars

I really enjoyed this audio. The narrator did a great job! It was fairly quick audio and I listened to it at 1.5 speed for most of it. Autumn found Mitch just when she needed him most. Their love story is one that was written in the stars. Autumn showed up looking for a room to rent but she had no idea what she was going to find. This single mother deserves her second chance at love and all the protection/family that comes with Eidolon.
