Sharp Claws by James Agee Jr.
Everyone thinks that they know the story of Red Riding Hood, but what if events did not happen the way they have been told? This retelling shows there is always more to the story than meets the eye. Sometimes a complex tragedy can have a simple explanation.

Minion Contract by Omar Velasco

James Agee Jr. writes fictional stories that border on the unknown. When he isn’t reading a book, he is writing one. Stories surround him and he cannot help but write a few of them down. Occasionally, some of those stories turn into books. He firmly believes that words have power and that if you are reading then you are doing yourself a wonderful favor.
Admit it, there are always at least two sides to every story, right? Just maybe, villains are often just MISUNDERSTOOD and James Agee Jr., Katie Johns, Elaine Arrow, Omar Velasco and O. Carciente are here to give voice to “the rest of the story.” From the inside scoop of one of the “it” girls in school, whose diary makes for fascinating reading about being one of the elite to the scene of Granny’s demise with the big, bad wolf hovering over her, these five authors tell tales of what may have actually happened, as opposed to how things looked. Could the monster in the swamp be a hero instead of a killer? Just maybe, we need to be a little less ready to jump to conclusions, because there is definitely more than meets the eye in these quick reads that can be digested at once or snacked on, one tale at a time.
All fun reads, I definitely have a few favorites, but these brilliantly talented authors prove you can’t tell a book by how many pages its stories contain. I believe it takes a rare gift to complete a satisfying read in just a relatively few amount of words, but these authors have done it! Highly recommended!
I received a complimentary copy from James Agee Jr. This is my honest and voluntary review.
