Vandaag meteen het tweede deel opgepakt van mijn stapel en begonnen met lezen. Ditmaal een oorsmeerslechterik (al is het echt oorsmeer) waarvan ik al snel een vermoeden had wie het moest zijn. We ontmoeten onze superhelds vrienden en ik moest wel lachen dat hij nu moeite had met zich inhouden, ik weet zeker dat hij daar voor dit alles geen moeite mee had gehad. XD Ook leuk om de lessen te zien die zijn oma met hem doet. Zij met gasmasker en outfit want anders... Ik heb echt dubbel gelegen om de lessen en hoe hij echt een scheetlegende was. XD
Ook het gevecht aan het einde was spannend en leuk geschreven en ik kijk nu al uit naar het derde boek. Hopelijk krijgen we een hint naar de ouders.

This is, without doubt, a very silly book. On the other hand, that can make it perfect for capturing the attention and laughter of primary school kids. Miss 5 found the fart jokes, weaponised ear wax, and random vomiting to be hilarious. She was also stoked at identifying early on who the villain really was!

Miss 5 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.

Delightfully smelly fun

I read this to my 5-year-old son who enjoyed the farting references. The story itself was mediocre and the fart/bum/poo puns and references became tedious and repetitive.
