My Crazy Paranormal Romance #1

Dragon Days, Witch Nights

Rate this book
Jezibaba—aka Elenora the reluctant Dragoness—is tucked into her beach house and enjoying her retirement. After hundreds of years of protecting the nutbag magical community, she deserves a little peace and quiet. Right?

Wrong…

What she doesn't deserve is her dragon lover announcing their mating to all of dragonkind. Those crazy flying freaks consider her to be Damien's pet human which is really not working for her. The least he could have done was warn her they were about to be summoned before the Council of Dragons to explain themselves.

She also doesn't deserve to have to worry about the wicked firebird mage, Zenos, trying to bed Damien's mother. You'd think a couple of millennial-old creatures would keep their embarrassing wooing to themselves. Damien's breathing fire over it and Goddess only knows what's going to happen when the Council of Dragons finds out.

The chaos she calls her life has her all fired up again. Retirement will have to wait. Something has to be done before her inner dragon decides to get involved and the witch hits the fan.

USA Today Bestselling Author

I am an active dreamer and find writing to be the best way to use my creativity. Needing to satisfy both sides of my brain, I have become a cross-genre author of contemporary, romantic comedy, fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal romances.

I feel blessed that my books appear on bestseller lists for humor, romantic comedy, space opera, and more. I crave laughter from all my readers and focus my attention on making that happen as often as possible.

I love to hear from anyone who has read my books. Each reader is a hero or heroine to me. I am inspired by you.

She’s baaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaack! No worries, this is a new series, however, I read about the Jezibaba in a previous series. I enjoyed those books and loved to continue reading about her and her crazy, mixed-up life.

Now known as Elenora – her given name, and no longer the Jezibaba – and Damien – let’s call him her “Significant Other” – are on a vacation getaway when life comes back to them in a storm. At its core, the story is about Elenora coming to terms with her new “life skills”. She is now an “infamous dragon-witch” trying to be in retirement from her Jezibaba days. Damien is a dragon and wants to be her official mate, rather than SO. Chaos ensues when they go back to Damien’s “home” to get the Dragon Council’s blessing.

I loved how Elenora went thru a very intense personal journey and that Damien was always there for her, even when he was being a (many hundred) year old boy. Their scenes are always funny, even for these two crazy-in-love, just-plain-crazy “kids”. It’s funny, it’s exciting, it’s over the top but that’s why I enjoyed it.

Dragon Days, Witch Nights us into a "world" of witches, fairies, shifters, deities, and ancient ones. Competing factions and inter species politics keeps unrest high. In previous books (and it might be best to have read them before) Elenora was the witch protector, now she's entering the dragon fold. And dragons are the top of the food chain, at least they think they're so superior. This fun fast paced fantasy takes you away on a wild adventure with characters you can't help but fall in love with.

New Job

Ah yes, just love what the Jezibaba gets herself caught up in. Elenora thinks herself retired, almost retired, she has one job left to do. But fate has other plans for her and she finds herself with a new role, one she was born to do. The humor is understated, the dangers are real and once again the decisions are lift threatening. A great start to the new life of Elenora, the semi-retired Jezibaba.

Absolutely loved this story!

Elenora has had many roles in her long life. Changes are coming and not everyone is as accepting.

Damien is so helpful in helping her with her transition from human to dragon...but Elenora is fighting the process.

It's amazing how much is resting on Elenora. Luckily she has her great grandfather to help, the pain in the butt that he is. She has a great number of people in her corner - which will come in handy.
