She’s baaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaack! No worries, this is a new series, however, I read about the Jezibaba in a previous series. I enjoyed those books and loved to continue reading about her and her crazy, mixed-up life.
Now known as Elenora – her given name, and no longer the Jezibaba – and Damien – let’s call him her “Significant Other” – are on a vacation getaway when life comes back to them in a storm. At its core, the story is about Elenora coming to terms with her new “life skills”. She is now an “infamous dragon-witch” trying to be in retirement from her Jezibaba days. Damien is a dragon and wants to be her official mate, rather than SO. Chaos ensues when they go back to Damien’s “home” to get the Dragon Council’s blessing.
I loved how Elenora went thru a very intense personal journey and that Damien was always there for her, even when he was being a (many hundred) year old boy. Their scenes are always funny, even for these two crazy-in-love, just-plain-crazy “kids”. It’s funny, it’s exciting, it’s over the top but that’s why I enjoyed it.
