A lovely book, written by a hero of my youth, no airs and graces just an honest account of a cricketing life well lived.
Many of the stories recounted and the characters recalled were a huge part of my early years, growing up as a cricket mad youngster in south Wales.
What's wrong with a lovely bit of nostalgia written by a real gentleman? Loved this book!
