Justice

Rate this book
Heroes and heroines throughout time have understood self-sacrifice. Sometimes when you’re trying to bring Justice to the world, you forget to take care of yourself. That is, of course, why they are heroes and stand above the “take, take, take” mantra of shellfish pricks. Then, there are times when the Fates smile upon you and you get to benefit both yourself AND the greater good. Those are the “bestest” of situations for sure, and the Executioners are more than happy to be altruistic opportunists when the need arises. The problem, naturally, is when some rocks are turned over, even worse things crawl out of the darkness... But if the job were easy, the Executioners would have never volunteered for it in the first place. It’s time for a little Justice... ................................... Publisher’s Thank you for the consideration ... We do apologize for the bawdy language, but the author insists that it is necessary for both context and plot. We figure that he's just doing it because he uses F-bombs for punctuation in his daily life, and he believes everyone, for some reason, speaks that way ... Okay, I'm being told that it isn't too offensive, and anyway, since we are an Indie-house, C'est la vie... Okay, well, you've been forewarned ... So, welcome to the World of Panteria...

"I generally write for myself. It's a bit of therapy for me--allowing me to tackle everyday foils by innocently murdering my friends, family, coworkers, and the person who cuts you off on the freeway. So, my goal isn't to be a famous writer ... Hell, there are millions of aspiring ones on this site submitting every month. However, I'm sharing my works in hopes that someone else will enjoy the read, and, well, maybe, give someone else the inspiration to write his/her own novel or series ... as other indie writers did for me..."

--LB Sisk, Author, cartoonist, philosopher, terrible mind reader, and recovering misanthrope...

L.B. Sisk works as a Director of Marketing for a robotics company, which supplies analytical systems for clients in medical, environmental and government laboratories. Sure, you'd think developing marketing collateral for sophisticated robots would be fun; however, when they're boring and benefit Humanity ... Blah. Blah. Blah. Therefore, by night, he aspires to share his twisted imagination with like-minded folk. He lives in the Portland, Oregon, which, according to some vagabond he met in Barstow, CA, is a beautiful, fantasy land of unlimited strip clubs and craft breweries. What more could you ask for?

I have four books to offer so far:

I. Panteria Chronicles: Fallen (published by PageBacon)

II. Panteria Chronicles: Damned (Sisk Works)

III. Panteria Chronicles: Carnage (Sisk Works).
NOTE: The first three were written some 20 years ago when I was in college, and edited later (as an older, wiser fellow)

IV. Ixion (Sisk Works)

V. Shears Trades Swords (Sisk Works)

Thank you! I appreciate any new reviews!

I enjoyed writing this one. While I wrote a lot of the story when I was in college long ago, there were considerable rewrites and added content to give life to the characters over the last year. These characters have a special place in my heart, and I'm glad to share them with you.

Fun book. I like this world. Like the idea that the characters aren't necessarily specifically good or evil. Just a damaged like the rest of us.
