LITERARY AWARD RECEIVED: Awarded first prize in prestigious Wingword poetry prize 2019’s regional category for her poem “Tahar sange Tahar”.
EDUCATION:
Dwaita has done her PhD in cultural studies from Jain University, Bangalore, India. She has done her Honours in Sanskrit language and literature from Lady Brabourne college, Kolkata followed by Masters in Sanskrit (Indology) with specialization in Vedic studies (ancient Indian language and literature) from university of Calcutta.

প্যারাসাইকোলজি তথা প্যারানরমাল নিয়ে গবেষণা করা ছাত্রী অপরাজিতা'র বয়ানে লেখা এই মোট ছাব্বিশটি ছোট্ট গল্প পড়ে একইসঙ্গে দুটো অনুভূতি হয়~
১) ডার্ক বা সিচুয়েশনাল কমেডির মুচকি হাসি;
২) গা-ছমছমে বর্ণনা পড়ে হওয়া শিরশিরানি।
গল্পগুলোর মাধ্যমে কলকাতার নানা জায়গায় তো বটেই, এমনকি দেশ-বিদেশেও ভ্রমণ করা হয়ে যায়। জানা যায় নানা আর্বান লেজেন্ড এবং অপদেবতার কথা। কিন্তু সবটাই পরিবেশিত হয় হালকা হাসি আর মানবিকতার মাধ্যমে, তাই মন ভার হয় না কোনো অবস্থাতেই।
অরিজিৎ ঘোষের প্রচ্ছদটা বড়ো অন্ধকার৷ পল্লবী নন্দনের করা নামাংকনটি অবশ্য ভারি মজাদার। অলংকরণগুলো বেশ শিহরণ-জাগানিয়া— এ-কথাও বলতেই হচ্ছে।
অপরাজিতা, তার অকুতোভয় মা, তিমিবাবু এবং প্রফেসর জে.জে-র আরও অভিযান পড়ার আশায় রইলাম।
