Decent Book on Habits

While I don't know if I would go so far as to say this book will help you truly master forming habits, it's actually a fairly decently written and thorough approach to habit formation. As I love to read nonfiction, I have read a number of books on habits. This book looks at several approaches and pitfalls. The author isn't shy about sharing his own experiences to illustrate a point, which I always like in a self-help book. What I enjoyed the most about this book, though, is that it is also a workbook. The last couple of pages of each chapter are a set of questions to help you think through the chapter's topic and apply it in your own life. A great way to make a book like this actionable! Some habit topics in this book include the neuroscience behind it, the best first ways to approach it, automating success, and crucial mistakes to avoid. I found this to be a well-written book on habits compared to most, and if such a topic interests you, it might be worth your while to pick it up.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Excellent process outline for success

This book gives much helpful advice in how to develop good habits to replace bad ones. He goes through a step-by-step process that includes breaking the end goal into manageable chunks and reinforcing positive change. The author also explains physiologically how we get stuck in old habits. Highly recommend.
