Over 40, divorce final, and seeing dead things—sounds like a blast, right?

Well, life was beginning to get better... if you overlooked the accidents I kept having with the Jenkins family's Items of Power entrusted to my care.

After one teeny, tiny mistake (that may or may not have involved excessive amounts of wine) which resulted in me calling back a whole roomful of dead people from the Light, Grandmam Jenkins demanded that I go to NOLA to find my last living relative, to see if she could shed any light on my problems.

There's nothing better than a 1,200 mile road trip with a ghost, a ghost dog, and a living German Shepherd Dog all crammed into a Jeep Wrangler, right? What could go wrong?

Well, you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you! You'll just have to join me in New Orleans for a bit, where you'll be seeing some witchy things.

This picks up immediately where book one ended, so you definitely need to have read book one to know what's going on (there is no recap).

A lot happens in this installment and you're introduced to several more characters, which might be challenging to keep track of if you're not careful. I did enjoy it though and plan on reading book three soon.

Seeing Witchy Things immediately follows book #1, Seeing Dead Things with little recap as to characters and situations. I enjoyed this one even more than the first one. Roxie grows by leaps and bounds in this one and had fun, too. I'm onto book #3, Seeing Familiar Things.

So very good

I thought the first book in the series was good, but this one well surpassed it, especially the last third. The characters errors awesome. The writing good and the story excellent.

Incredible!

Fun, funny, emotional, and my 2 new favorite books. I certainly hope there are more to come in this series!
For those who like paranormal stories with ghosts, witches, shifters, etc. Without blood and guts, or nail biting anxiety and stress. You'll love these characters and seeing their challenges overcome.

This 2nd Book was so good. I couldn't put it to until the last page. Omg I am loving this series! Can I have book 3 now lol.

I still have sooo many questions. Put I'm loving the pace of This timeline. Learning right along with Roxie & Rand (I do ship these two *sigh*)
In the last chapter & pages, I was so surprised, that I totally didn't see that coming. *sniff sniff*

I fell in love with Zara and can I have my own please LMBO

Weeping at the end of a book is not usual for me. However, this series is so well written and crafted that I fell very deeply under it's spell. Roxie is a terrific MC. Her growth through the two books is very well drawn. Supporting players are also individual and well written. I cannot wait for this series to continue.

Captivating

This book held my attention from the first page to the last. I'm excited to see what happens next for Rosie and her growing group of friends. I did have one small complaint for the author. I grew up in North Alabama and been to Louisiana and the New Orleans several times, no one has the accent of Jeremy. Many in the South are educated though we are proud of our southern drawl but that wasn't Southern, Cajun, or Creole but badly written stupid. Jeremy owns a successful business therefore he's smart enough to not speak in the third person when referring to himself. I loved the book enough to keep reading and I'm glad I did but other southerners may be insulted as well. If you want to write the NOLA region correctly then throw in some French with plenty of y'alls. Great job on this series!

Loved it

This series is one of the best out there! Ms Raventhorne has introduced us to a new set of very well thought out characters and a storyline that hasn't been done a dozen times already. Lighthearted and deep at the same time, this series is a wonderful compilation of fun and tears, with a hint of romance to come... bring on book three!

Love the familiar

I really like this series and the books keep getting better. Roxie is starting to learn her powers and is meeting very interesting friends. Now that she has met her aunt and is finding more about her family her life is really going to get more crazy. Very much looking forward to the next book.

Great read

I pick the first book up randomly and it was the best decision I made. These books are addictive with brilliant characters that become real people the deeper you get into the storylines. I couldn't put them down & read both books within two days. Can not wait for the next one, you really won't be disappointed.

Getting older is great!

Even better than the first installment! The magical world becomes even more real in this second look into finding Roxie's family history and just how long they've been around! There's nothing to say life has to be boring the older you get and it's anything but for Rox! I can't wait to see what happens from here!

Some interesting parts

Those come mostly towards the back third of the book. I have two main gripes with Roxie. One, she doesn’t seem to have much foresight or the ability to see future consequences. Like I don’t think she’s comprehended the obvious about what happens at the end. And two? Woman needs to visit a doctor if she’s having that much trouble with her bladder, which is a word I may never want to read again.

Execelent second book in the series. Really liked this book, looking forward to the next one. Roxie has had so many things happening, she is a champ to roll with everything that has taken place so far. Rand, Toby and Jake are great helpers.

Fantastic Read. I can't believe this is a new author, she has already mastered the art of sucking you in to her books so the outside world ceases to exist. I love all the new PWF books, but these are my favorite for sure. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

I loved this story and its characters. Surely there's the possibility of a Book 3. Let's see what happens as Roxie grows into her new role. Was disappointed when I discovered the story didn't continue.

An aunt she didn't know, new magick, a road trip, and a whole new life. So many emotions in this book, and I'm left wanting more.
