This is the first book I have read from Amanda Faye. I read the blurb for it and thought it sounded fun. I didn't realise it was only a short story, but honestly that just added to the appeal. I literally picked it up and read it before bed.
Ryan has been in love with Cris since they were young, only Cris thought he was just messing around. And his affection and declarations of love just became part of their banter. Which really connected me to them as a couple. I could feel their years of friendship and history in every interaction. The jump from friends to more felt like I had waited forever for it while I watched in unfold. The fact that his sister was always aware of where they were both at and was all in was a nice bonus.
For a reasonably short novel, I didn't feel like I missed out on anything. The chemistry was hot, but the emotion came across just as strongly. And I read the whole time with a really happy feeling and the urge to jump into more books by Amanda Faye so I'm off to check out her catalog on GoodReads.

Oo my! This was a really good short story and to tell you the truth I didn't expect it! Ryan and Cristina have a past that blooms into something sweet and I absolutely loved it! Just PERFECT!

If you are looking for a quick steamy read then please, please, please grab yourself a copy of this book!! Ryan has loved Cris since they were kids. There is nothing he wouldn't do for his Sugarplum. Ryan is a sweet sexy goofball who will do anything to keep a smile on Cris's face. His swoon-worthiness oozes within these pages. You can not help but love the way he always puts her needs and wants firsts. I adored this quick little read.

Ryan is a hoot in this story, most of the time. Ryan is caring and lovable and loyal and sweet and so perfect. HIs love for Cris is fun to watch. Cris is outspoken and obstinate and has her head in the sand most of the time. Theirs is a true slow burn but once the fire ignites, what starts as a flash fire soon consumes everything in it's wake. This is a great book. The secondary characters are realistic and while Stephanie is likeable and fun like Meg, Tom is a jerk and deserving of the disdain Ryan shows him.

“One Night Only, a quick and lovely story that melted my heart. Ryan was such a sweet man that loved Cris since they were kids so when she needed his help and didn’t hesitate on putting his armor and be his knight! I absolutely adored their relationship but mostly how Ryan cared for Cris and was always trying to make her happy. It was short but Amanda Faye gave us background story, love and happiness all together.”

One Night Only, Forbidden Fruit Shorts #2 was a good story. The plot was written well, the characters were strong. Amanda Faye did a great job on the story.
Ryan and Cristina may have been on the forbidden side but they were drawn to one another, the attraction and connection was strong between them. Their chemistry was steamy. They were great together.
I enjoyed this story, it was great. Thanks, Amanda Faye. Great work :)

Amanda Faye is making he way to the top of my list when it comes to quick, steam reads that pack a good punch right in the feels. Plus, there’s always a delicious hero just like Ryan waiting to make me swoon all the swoons. This was such a fun read that left my tummy fluttering and me smiling. If you’re short on time or just in the mood for a fast, but very well written story with plenty of sizzle, get yourself ONE NIGHT ONLY or any Amanda Faye book.

This was a hot steamy erotic romance story perfect for a quick afternoon read.

Well this quick read was a pleasant surprise. Amanda Faye has now added herself to my ever increasing list of must read authors.
I was taken away with how much she covered in this story. Enough of a background recap that made the story very realistic in how these two came together.

F-Love It.
Amanda Faye is killing it with this series. I thought I loved Sophie and Bax. I don’t know Cris and Ryan just moved up to first place. This is quick, it’s steamy, and the right amount of funny. You don’t want to miss this one.

One Night Only is book 2 in the Forbidden Fruit Short Story Series. This was my first time reading something by Amanda Faye, and I was able to read One Night Only as a standalone, despite not having read book 1 in the series. I really enjoyed this story, and am looking forward to reading more from Amanda Faye in the future.
We get introduced to Cristina and Ryan straight away in their younger years, showing us Ryan is Cristina's best friends brother, but that there is more to their relationship than they are willing to admit.
I really enjoyed the back and forth these characters had. Ryan was sweet throughout, trying to get Cristina's attention and keep it. This was a fun, sweet story with a lovely happily ever after. I can't wait to see what's next in The Forbidden Fruit Series.

Needing to make a statement at her ex’s wedding, Cris asks her long time friend, Ryan, to be her date. She has to prove she has moved on and no longer affected by the past. Ryan just wants one night to be with Cris...forever.
I immediately fell into this story from the first couple of pages. With characters like Ryan, it’s not hard to do. And while I am happy with the book as a whole, I would absolutely love if we could have more Ryan and Cris. They were magnetic together with a chemistry that was on fire. Faye did a fantastic job with this story and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next one. HIS sounds amazing. ONE NIGHT ONLY gets every bit of 5 Stars!!

I loved this story it’s about Ryan and Cristina (Cris) who has been invited to her ex fiancée’s wedding but Cris’s boyfriend couldn’t go so she gets Ryan to go with her plus her ex doesn’t like Ryan so it should be interesting. Ryan has known Cris since they were kids it’s also how long he has been in love with her, I loved Ryan he was a bit of a smart ass but he knew what he wanted and that was Cris. This is a chuckle worthy sexy short story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Wow what a story, we all want a man like Ryan, you know the man that is a bit cocky, has a bit of a bad boy persona but only calls you sugarplum, tells you he loves you in every possible way and is there when every you need him he just drops everything and comes running like he has since you were kids. This book is hot and spicy but has a sweet love story with it too. Really fantastic book Amanda Faye has a way with words.

Love this story. Long time friends who have had a crush on one another for what seems like forever. Finally get their chance when Cris asks Ryan to be her star to her ex’s wedding. Who I their right mind invites an ex? And asshole that’s who. But Ryan can never say no to Cris. He has always loved her. And told her so much to her dis-believement. Yes I made that word up. They are so adorable together. Have always been like an old married couple. They know everything about each other being as his twin sister is her best friend.

When you finally have a taste of what you have craved can it only be for one night
One Night Only is the second book in the Forbidden Fruit series and is the story of Ryan and Cris.
This is a hot and very steamy story which is also funny, witty and enjoyable. The characters are wonderfully developed and the story line is very entertaining. I quite liked Good Boys Talk Dirty and would recommend it.

I thought this story was an enjoyable and engaging story. The couple who are our focus have great chemistry and are extremely likable. The scenes between them were sweet and steamy but also lovely to read. I found myself rooting for them as the navigated the waters in a somewhat forbidden romance.

I enjoyed Ryan and Cristina's story. It was a fun read, a good mix of sweet and steamy. Surprisingly, most of the story was from Ryan's point of view. I think Cristina's perspective was only at the very beginning and the very end. Since most romances have either an even split or favor the woman's point of view, I was surprised, but I did enjoy Ryan's thoughts.

Ryan has told Cristina he’s in love with her for years....she just took twelve years for her to realize he was serious. Cristina needs a replacement date for her ex’s wedding and who better than Ryan to fill in with only a few hours notice. He’s her best friends big brother and that put him off limits. Great banter and hot chemistry as they “play act for the wedding”. Loved this quick hot read.
