This is the dramatic conclusion to the entire series and I raced through this in record time.
My heart was in my mouth throughout as we were thrown from one dire situation into the next.

After where we left things previously I was so worried for Johnny’s fate and how they were going to get him back.
I also loved that we got a brief insight into Johnny’s mindset this really helped solidify for me how much he’s changed since meeting and falling for Kyla.
When he finally realises just why she’s actually in the heights and her sole purpose my heart was racing with just what he might do.

This is the book where all of this unconventional new family properly come together as a unit and it was just so heartwarming.
Johnny finally let’s go here and embraces the others in Kyla’s life completely realising Magnum Brawler and Oscar are just as much there for him as they are for her.

And can I just say those last few chapters especially with that final reveal I thought I was going to have a heart attack on the spot.
I was so happy with how it all eventually played out though I was slightly scared for a time I don’t mind admitting.
This series has been so great and quite the journey and I’ve enjoyed it immensely.
This one was a new author for me but one I would definitely read again, A big thumbs up from me.

One of the best written reverse harem stories I have read. I never felt that that the heroine gave one hero more attention than the other. I was never bored with the plot even though you knew what the heroine’s objective was from book one.
Great characters, great plot, great twists, awesome heroine, loved the heroes. I am sad that the series is over.

5 stars series!!

Ngl, but the ending felt a wee bit underwhelming and rushed...like some things just did not make any sense??? Other than that, it was still pretty good so there's that. Not one of the best RH series I've read so far, but not the worst either🥰

Holy hell. What a hell of a ride was this! I can't believe its over. After everything everyone is free. They got Johnny baby back, Magnum's secret is out. Oscar and Brawler took care of their mom's. And Kayla is free of her demons. But everyone of them had to fight tooth and nail to get there. Togheter and alone it was a hard fight. Taking care of Big Daddy K was the hardest thing. In the end he got so ruthless, im so so happy he's dead. I wish Kayla and her boys all the best in their lives to come. Because they all deserve it so much!

Knockout ending

I thought I was prepared for this book. I had a good understanding of the plot, the characters and what needed to be done. Well I was so wrong. This book turned everything sideways and made me question everything. There are still twists and secrets to come out as our beloved characters fight to get their HEA.

At one point my heart was in tatters... the emotion displayed on the pages was so thick it oozed through. The steam was incredibly hot and increased tenfold in this book. There was even a really hot group scene. Yowzers.

I’ve loved this story from the start and have been championing with Kyla to get her revenge, but not sure how it was going to play our. I’ve felt the pain, the fear, the paranoia and love these characters experienced. Brawler will always be my favorite followed closely by Magnum. But... Johnny shows up in a real way. His character growth was the biggest and he had the most to lose.

Incredible story from start to finish. Mostly told through Kyla’s POV there were a few from others. Med-high steam. HEA. Triggers. Sexual abuse and attempted rape. Violence and death.

Read other books by this author in the future: yes
MC: Kyla, Magnum, Johnny, Brawler, Oscar

I feel like I am going against the general rating because the average at the moment is 4.68 stars. But I did not like it as much as the other three and I struggled to finish this one, because it was a slow read for me. There were some surprises about the secrets of the guy in the harem, but also some secrets of Kyla lead to revealing secrets of others. It’s hard to explain, because telling more is spoiling the best part.

At the end we finally get a HEA. This is the second time the last book of EM Moores books does not get me. First one was the last sequel of the Ball series and now this!

Wow!! I feel like I just got knocked out in the best way! It began with an uppercut to the heart, and ended with perfect knockout resulting in a huge smile across my face. The emotions throughout Knockout Queen were like being on a rollercoaster for the first time; full of nervous excitement and then pure joy! Thank you Erin for bringing us the amazing warrior queen Kyla and her beautiful soldier crew of men. I loved getting to know them all and seeing their character development with every book, however Knockout Queen was a complete masterpiece. Everyone’s true colors shined bright and as I read through each chapter, I found myself having bittersweet moments knowing this was the final book where I would have to say farewell to the Heights. Hopefully E.M. Moore surprises us with some box set extras or side character cameos in her future series!

All the guys hold a special place in my heart for different reasons, but Johnny Rocket has officially won over my soul. What a dark and beautifully complex character!! He began as the guy you love to hate, but you knew eventually I’d given the opportunity you would jump into bed with him the moment he gave you a glimpse of what lies beneath the alphahole exterior. Johnny, Magnum, Brawler, and Oscar are the perfect guys even with their own tragic pasts.. they recognize being with Kyla makes them a “family” and a force to be reckoned with “together.”

I highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoys a badass female, a crew of dangerous and delicious men, amazing fights, and a roller coaster of emotions. Jump into the ring and get into Uppercut Princess if you haven’t started the series yet, because i promise the only pain you’ll have is from not reading it!

A great series finish. Pedal to the metal all the way to the end. I enjoyed it. Only one tiny detail sticks out. While it’s great that the boys condomed up a lot last 📖book, there was a lot bareback without a testing discussion in this one. The author is so careful about consent and being safe that it seems out of place. 👍🏼Yes, she tells them she’s on the the pill, but honestly, with the amount of sh*t going down, there’s no way she’s taking it regularly. And we all know the boys weren’t abstinent before they got together. I was afraid the epilogue would have her dying of an untreated syphilis infection. Looking forward to more from this author.

That ending was freaking EPIC. I didn’t even see half of the bombshells coming in this book! What a perfect end to an amazing series! Dang, I don’t know what I’ll do with myself now that the Heights Crew is done. I became so invested in their lives and now their story is over. Such a great series!

This series honestly pulled me in and refuses to let go. I have a major hangover from these guys, and I'm seriously sad to say goodbye to them. I could never get enough of their story, but im also satisfied with how it ended. This book threw twists at me that I didn't see coming, and I am at a loss with what to do with myself now that it's over. I highly recommend this series, it's the best series that em moore has written!

Gangs, Four Hot Guys, ,Guns, Violence and a Bossy Girl

This final instalment sees the guys of ‘The Crew’ and Kyla/Joey, coming to terms with rival gang ‘The Dragons’ and one lapsed member on a vendetta to gain control (Gregory)
Okay....I,m just going to say it.
I don’t get reverse harem love stories.

This is the second one in a row I have read and, there are certain issues I always have with them.
Things that I find annoying are, authors always use the multiple partner relationship as an excuse to have a threesome, foursome, or (in this case) fivesome.
These scenes always progress the way you’d expect, and THIS makes them predictable.
Plus, there is always one of the guys that I like more than the others (in this case Oscar) and I find it difficult BELIEVE that

a. The girl involved how can care about them all EQUALLY (Lets not even contemplate the whole rotating sleeping arrangements)

b. That the guys involved are completely onboard. That there are no jealousy issues. We only got a short glimpse of this with Johnny.
Real life just isn’t like that, no matter how bad the guys lives where OR how much they all bonded.
I don’t know any guys that would be okay with this situation.

Also Kyla...I found her to be
Selfish when is came to the guys

Greedy, needy

She had a Queen complex

Loves being worshipped by her Pussy whipped boys, and them telling her, or worshipping her body with their eyes...Ugh!

And don’t get me started on the hideous description of the purple dress she got from Lynettes store to wear to the club.

Her most frequently used phrase was “I’m not going to lie”

Kyla was everyone’s saviour. She was going to get them all out of The Heights
Kyla is like their therapist/life coach, taking onboard all their past indiscretions and dealing out solutions.
For someone her age she appears to have all the answers.

Don’t get me started on the puke worthy speech Magnum/Jacob gives towards the end. Gushing about how amazing she is healing all of them...C’mon!

Speaking of Magnum, he was probably the person in her ‘harem’ that I disliked the most.
He was sneaky and manipulative.
You could bet your bottom dollar, when ever there was a group sex session, he would instigate it OR, was the first to claim her.
Also, he comes across as an older guy as well, which makes it waaay creepy.
When I found out what his ‘secret’ was, I was like YES! I new it.
Then I wanted him to stay bad, and he didn’t...Boo!

I also don’t know why the author shied away from having one of the guys get killed or at lest suffer a gang related debilitating injury.
I mean, come on...I can’t believe all they came away with was few bullet wounds and bruises if these gangs were supposed to be so scary.
And the purple gun??? Ugh!
I was disappointed with this book.
By the time I got to the epilogue I had given up on any kind of surprises ending.
I was resigned to the fact that it was just going to be a quick wrap up of all their storyline’s,....And it was, boring and predictable.

So I’ll be honest, I had no idea this was the end.

Mainly because I almost felt blindsided.

It was rushed.
Indeed it was, this book.

The plot was plowing full steam ahead and then just WHAM, the meat of the issue is solved fairly quickly. Think: how the republicans think Coronavirus is going.

I guess I just.. DID NOT SEE *IT* COMING kinda like I did not see the entirety of that ending coming at all. If I had any predictions, they’re just blown away, kinda like the brains of BDK. But yeah Magnum’s little moves were surprising to say the least. And also Gregory’s involvement. And how BDK knew it all. AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING ALL THESE PLOT HOLES???

I’m just not very emotional towards this last installment.
Kyla, in my opinion, was just a hair too much for me on the.. crazed-look-in-the-eye,-squinting side.
Brawler was blah.
Magnum was blah. (Except towards the end)
Johnny was still the only one giving life to his character but even then his progression in development sped up a lot.

Rushed and blindsided, those are my thoughts on this book. I still think it’s a good series.

Just very blah right now.
Sorry for the terrible review lol.

Action-packed conclusion. The harem coheres (with a group scene, natch), a bazillion secrets are revealed, and vengeance is wreaked! Johnny Rocket is 100% my fave, so much so that I nearly forgot what a huge d-bag he was in the beginning.

The series is all single POV (save for one brief chapter from my boy Johnny's perspective) and I do feel like I would've been more into the other guys if we'd got their POVs. I mean, I like them, but Johnny's arc is the standout.

For the series as a whole, I'd go with 3.5, rounded up to 4 for Johnny baby.

This is ostensibly a high-school setting, but not really. I mean, the leads are all 18 to 25, they do attend high school in person in the first book several times, and make mention of online study occasionally... but from about the middle of book one on, it's fully an underground fighting/organized crime setting.

Wow wow wow, where to start!
I was completely hooked from the moment i dived into this recommended book series by E.M Moore and i was not disappointed!!!!!

the fourth and final book from Kyla and her guys. The twists and turns kept on coming until the very end making this a brilliant page turner….

Brawler - he’s torn and tortured with a love of fighting. Oscar - our football god with all the cheekiness. Johnny - and his loyalty, crazy and need to be THE MAN. and Magnum - the tough guy, the back up, the solid shot.

Complex characters with depth and layers. A fantastic strong MC in the Upper Cut Princess turned upper cut QUEEN!!!

Gutted it’s ended but I’m so happy I got to read this amazing series🌶️📕

Solid end to the series

While it felt good to get to the end, it was so stretched out that I considered DNF many times along the way. This story could easily have been told in two books instead of torturously stretched into four. Kyla’s character slowly lost credibility for me as a fighter given how easily and often she’s overpowered and how many chances she has to kill her nemesis that she doesn’t take. Seeing her rely on “her men” over and over for a plan of action - particularly when they constantly leave her in the dark - gave me a sour sense at her lack of agency.
Overall I enjoyed the series and would recommend it but I’m not looking for other books by this author.

Received an ARC and am giving an honest review!

I absolutely loved the ending of the heights crew.
Knockout Queen kept me on my toes throughout, and just when I thought I'd worked out what was going on another twist was added. Absolutely loved it!!
Every detail in this book was perfectly thought out and written and Moore has wrote a superb book, again.
Would love to read a bit more about their future and life as they progress but amazing final installment.
Cannot wait to see what Moore writes next.

An utterly perfect ending to a fab series.

Carrying on right from where we left off Johnny and Oscar no where to be seen after the shootout and bombing at the fight. EM Moore doesn't hesitate to keep ours on our toes with twists and turns at every corner. Will they get Johnny back and will he accept the other boys? What about when he finds out Kaylas secret? and just what is Magnum hiding?! The good news is we do get all the answers, but my god what a roller-coaster ride to get there.

The action scenes are bloody, the hot scenes beyond steamy and the growing bond between them all heart touching and heartbreaking all at the same time.

I'm so sad to see the end of this series but delighted with the way it wrapped up

Wow, EM Moore brought action, action and more action with the finale of this RH series. I always knew that it would take something huge to pave the way for these characters and EM Moore didn't disappoint. So many revelations, enlightenment and more importantly, those that needed to see the truth finally did. Blood and guts are spilled, people die, and love conquers all. The heat is this book is seriously good and I wish we could see what happens to this group after all the shit went down.

Amazing!

Wow what a great ending to this series. I was so mad about some of the things that came to light but was so worth it to make the story what is was. I loved each and every one of these guys but I'm not gonna lie. I want more Cole. How did he get to where he did. I hope we hear more from him in the future! This series was everything!

E.M. Moore showed up yet again for Knockout Queen! She filled it with twists and turns, gave me emotional whiplash and all the feels, then did the mic drop of all mic drops and ended the series like the queen she is!

Quantity: 🔥🔥🔥
Quality: 🔥🔥🔥

Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Guys: By the end, I liked the guys, but I also feel like they weren’t well enough developed to really care about them. Like if one or two of them left, I’d still be fine with it. The only one I felt attached to was Brawler, and I think that’s because he’s developed in the first book, but not really throughout the rest of the series. I just have residual feelings for him from book 1.

Kyla: she was fine… not terrible but not great either. I felt it was really annoying how she portrayed herself as being so wise and mature beyond her years due to the pain of her past. I get that having both of your parents murdered is absolutely awful, but she had a perfectly nice childhood until she was 12, and then from 12 to 18 she lived a very privileged life. She didn’t want for anything, or have to do anything on her own. So tell me how tf she’s so strong and mature?? The guys all had to raise themselves, lost various family members, and were dirt poor. Those are guys who would be mature beyond their years, and they’d probably laugh in Kyla’s face for thinking she was half as strong as they were. Not even near the same playing field, but they all treat her like she’s amazing for all that she’s overcome. Overcome what?!?

Character development: ⭐️⭐️

It just wasn’t enough. Kyla, as the only POV, was barely enough. Like we saw all the action from her POV, but we didn’t really get to know her; and the parts that we did get to know kind of annoyed me.

There was so much miscellaneous plot that could have been cut out in order to give us more character development. I mean, there were 4 books, we should have gotten to know each of the guys in way more detail than we did. I mentioned before that they were kind of redundant, and I stand by that. Brawler and Magnum had the same personality traits. Once Magnum came into the picture, Brawler’s character stopped being developed. Oscar was supposed to be the lighthearted, comedic relief bf, but that was only done half-way. His character could have been exaggerated a LOT more. Johnny was pretty well developed, but I think that’s because for most of the series he was a standalone bf. He wasn’t having to interact with the other guys as much, so he got more individual development.

Plot: ⭐️⭐️.5

There was so much random plot at the risk of detailed events and character development. Things just kept happening, without any of the events taking up significant page space.

The first major one that jumped out at me was the 10 minute breakup with Johnny. It was so quick, so easily resolved, and so unnecessary. It wasn’t critical to the plot line, and the story could easily have worked without it. It didn’t even make sense. Johnny said he did it to get Kyla out of the heights, but since she easily just walked out of the tower and got in her car and drove away, that was easy enough to do regardless. He said she was too stubborn to leave without thinking she had to, but then he agrees to just let her come back within a few hours of leaving. Also, if Johnny thought Magnum was going to go with Kyla, how did he think he’d get back in touch with her? Was he really going to let her leave for good? I don’t think so, it was just under developed. I think it was added for a bit of drama, but we didn’t need the drama - there was enough already going on. What we needed was more time on plot detail and character development, but we lost those for the sake of pointless events like this one.

The Big Daddy K almost rape scene at the end was so unnecessary. It didn’t contribute to the plot, wasn’t necessary in order to fill any plot holes, and just didn’t make sense for the characters. You’re telling me that K had been wanting Kyla that whole time, wanted to rape her so badly, and then when he saw a little period blood he called the whole thing off?? The gang leader, a murderer, who enjoys beating the shit out of people, would turn down sex because of blood??? Is that a joke??? And it didn’t contribute to the plot at all. It wasn’t needed to further the storyline, and honestly it was executed so poorly. The dialogue from K while it was happening was just so cheesy and unrealistic.

Writing: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The author has potential, but overall its just not there yet. It was fine, and kept me reading, but I wouldn’t say it was a good series, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Magnum, Johnny, Oscar, and Brawler are some of my FAVORITES. By the end of this book (or more so the series, I suppose), I really loved all of these characters.

This series started kind of rocky for me, and I wasn't too sure that I was going to like it or even finish it. Somehow though, Moore really began to seduce me with her writing and these characters began to become important to me.

As far as this book goes, I felt it was somewhat rushed...but I still really freaking enjoyed it. It's probably because I got a , but either way, I liked it. This one satisfied my inner thirsty bitch that is sometimes rather insatiable. #RHreaderproblems.

I would love a book that takes us a few years into the future with this group. I want to see where the guys end up, and I NEED to see Oscar as a NFL quarterback.

This book worked a a great conclusion to one of the better harem series I have read. The whole book being packed with content and being the knockout punch that made me fall in love with the series entirely. The main character remains true to herself throughout all the books, a common mark to miss in this genre and all of the boys are fully fledged characters in their own right with good development and interesting plotlines.

One complaint I do have that the tension built up for Johnny's kidnapping fell a little flat, the whole thing being too quick to fully reach a climax and the police officer double agent thing didn't feel as fully developed as I would have liked it to be.

Overall a really good series. Would rec.

I loved this series!!!! As with any good series, it left me wanting way more at the end!!!!! Maybe a novella or something 5 yrs later would be a good thing for this story!!! 😉😉 Can you imagine Johnny/Mag/Oscar/Brawler as dads!?

The writing was prefect and I really enjoyed how Moore pulled it all together. I loved that Johnny wasn’t so easy into the harem as more stories portray it as. I really can’t describe what the book was about without giving you major secrets. I loved this series so much, don’t think about it. Kyla is a bada** mofo that I kinda have a girl crush on and her guys are the best - so don’t think about it - read it. You won’t be disappointed !!

Knockout for the win

A spectacular finish to the series, Knockout Queen truly lived up to it's name. It was packed full of punches with several heart stopping twists that it really kept you guessing. Plenty of action, violence, revenge, but above all, love worth killing for. It had an incredible flow and was paced just right, so that you couldn't and wouldn't want to put it down. A practical and realistic ending that was simply perfect. The Heights Crew Series has been an amazing read and I can't recommend it highly enough. Gonna miss Kyla's Crew! 😉
