My life is turned upside down when I begin to see my best friend in a whole new way.In the 90’s I fell in love with my best friend and neighbor, Anna May. Growing up together, I never saw her as anything more than my friend until one night and one dance. At seventeen, I was forced to do what I had never imagined. I had to choose between losing her to another guy or do everything I could to make her mine. Will I risk my friendship and show Anna that she’s more than the girl next door?
Language: PG+ (8+ swears, 0+ "f"); Mature Content: PG13+; Violence: G+ I quit reading because I didn't care to continue reading Ryan's thoughts about Anna's body. The mature content rating is for innuendo, partial nudity, kissing, and mentions of sex.
Boy notices his best friend has boobs and butt and falls in instalust. They go on a date, she kisses him, he acts disinterested but is jealous of other guy she goes out with. I got very bored. The characters were one dimensional and I know nothing about them except he is horny and likes to objectify his best friend and she likes the movie pretty in pink (or something similar)
I actually enjoyed this book, but wish the characters were juniors/seniors in college rather than high school. Especially since the HEA includes a marriage between 18 year olds.
I was prepared to give this book a 5 until I saw the next book killed him off!!!! WTF!!! I will not read the other books. Why make a perfect character and kill him off? Nope. Not gonna read it.
