I freaking LOVED THIS! An age-gap, Daddy/boy, stepfather/stepson romance full of heart, desire, a bit of angst and lots of super hot and kinky sex.
I absolutely loved that Brody owned a Gay Club and even more that Noah wore lace manties. I’m such a sucker for the men in my romances to wearing lace.
Totally recommended. Looking forward to book #3 in the series.

A hot stepdad who wears tiny leather shorts and leather chaps, plus a stepson who has a fable for lace. Wow so hot!!! This makes the reader melt. So in terms of sex scenes really super hot and kinky.

The plot is a bit more difficult, or perhaps not made for everyone, because a good half of the book is built on a mountain of lies and I had my moments where I was close to giving up. But then everything comes out sooner than I had feared. And there was enough time for the plot to work through it and turn everything around for the best.
Noah had a hard life until he found Brody, but he didn't let it get him down. And although he desperately needs a Daddy in his life, he is not a little boy, he is very strong and knows what he wants. This was a perfect wonderful character sketch here. I love how he fights for what he wants.

Thank you Drusilla and Kati for reading and rating this so highly. I needed a good age-gap story to get me through this weird slump I'm in, and this was the perfect story. Quick, sexy, and sweet, I definitely look forward to reading more from this author. 4 stars

I‘m a bit unsure about this one here I enjoyed the start of this book a lot and the story got my attention and I liked the MCs Noah and Brody, but somehow all those lies that were built up at the start started to really bother me and even after the topic of lies got cleared, I just didn’t really feel this book. I guess it just didn’t worked out of me.
Nevertheless the sex scenes were freaking hot and I enjoyed Noah’s and Bordys daddy/boy dynamic a lot.

This was a really good addition to the Daddy Tale series. I try to avoid stories with a lot of angst. This one had some but not a lot and it was mostly Brody. Noah balanced it out with his determination to make his "Daddy" see that they were meant to be together.
It was great to have a character that stood up for what he wanted but still cared enough to realize when something would negatively affect someone else. Noah and Brody made this story a 5-star read. All the kinky scenes in this were very good, and this book in this series is by no means an exception, especially the last one. All of that is wrapped up with a nice epilogue and a sweet HEA.
The story also goes on to remind us, that no matter what our sexuality is, or how we define ourselves, that everyone should strive to always be true to themselves and at least like the person that they are,

What a fantastic series this is turning out to be! The unique characters, and original story lines have kept me completely engrossed.
You can read His Stepdad Wears Leather and His Stepson Wears Lace as standalones. Characters from the first novel make a very brief appearance but you don't need to know anything about their story to completely enjoy this one.

Kelex is back with a new story in her Daddy Tales series! I completely loved this story between Noah, the young 18 year old running away from home, and Brody, the gruff 39 year old bar-owner who gives him a refuge and safe place to stay.
Noah is on the run from his controlling father and step-mother. He’s hoping to reconnect with his birth mother, who he hasn’t seen in 14 years, so he takes a bus to what he hopes is still her address. When he arrives it’s too late to go see her, and when things start looking dicey, he ducks into a leather bar where he meets Brody.
I adored Noah. I just wanted nothing but good things for him, after what he had gone through growing up. And he and Brody together were INSANELY hot. Like, fire. Brody is very much daddy, gruff and protective and dedicated to making sure his boy is being well taken care of, and it just totally works for them. And there’s a nice amount of leather and lace throughout their time together. Despite their intense connection, Noah also knows that it’s built on lies - Brody thinks he is older and he’s going by the name on his fake ID. He wants to come clean, but finds it difficult when he’s so worried about losing this new connection he has.
However, when things come to light it’s even worse than Noah and Brody think - for a brief span of time, we’re talking a few months back when Noah was a little kid, Brody was married to Noah’s birth mother. Everyone has to come to grips with that. And even though Brody thinks it’s wrong, even though Noah’s moms and reason says it is wrong, Noah and Brody can’t help but want each other. Now the whole family has to deal with that along with Noah’s father and step-mother trying to get in the way of things.
Like I said, the chemistry between these two is just so great. I was wondering how things were going to work out between them since everyone seemed so against them at first, and you could feel all the emotion as they tried to fight it but couldn't. I enjoyed the secondary characters (um, can we get a full story for Lex and his guy?!?) and loved the little appearances from Anson and Jereme from the first book.
LOVED it, highly recommend it if you want some kinky age gap with sexy times galore.

So that was pretty awesome. The Daddy kink was PERFECT; I mean, just flawless. Great pacing, HAWT, well drawn characters. Brody and Noah lit the page on fire from hello. What I loved about this is that through everyone had their own individual reactions to the various situations, everyone's stance was valid. You understood why Noah initially lied, you understood why Brody was conflicted, you totally get the moms' stance. There was no way through it but THROUGH IT. I loved Lex and Brody's friendship. When he asked Brody if this meant that Brody's family was white trash now, I cackled. I also love that he was perceptive enough to realize Noah was hiding something, but supportive when ish hit the fan.
I would have loved to read a book about Lex, but figured his Dom would be smaller because he's almost 7 ft tall...and that's not my favorite trope. So I said ok, I can hang if we at least make the Dom 6'4, not like 5'8. Cackling!! So yeah, seems like he won't get a book and I'm A-ok with that, but I'm super glad he found happiness.
I am REALLY loving this series. A + work here.

C'est un roman pour public très averti, lisez bien les trigger warnings et le résumé avant de vous lancer. Mais si vous êtes prêt à vous lancer dans la romance de Brody et Noah, alors, go !
Noah, à l'aube de ses 18 ans, fuit le domicile familial de son père et sa belle-mère ultra-conservateur et homophobe pour retrouver sa mère qui l'a abandonné. Arrivé sur place et armé de sa fausse carte d'identité, il se retrouve dans un bar à draguer le patron, Brody. Après une semaine de sexe débridé où il appellera Brody "daddy", ils vont découvrir qu'ils sont plus liés que ce qu'ils pensaient.
On peut dire que l'autrice est allée loin avec cette série, déjà, il faut aimer la différence d'âge et le kink BDSM daddy/garçon, mais également dépassé le fait que Noah est le demi-frère du fils de Brody. En effet, à la suite d'une blessure, il s'est marié à sa meilleure amie pour sa couverture sociale et lui a offert un enfant pour elle et sa compagne.
La première partie est centrée sur la "relation" de Noah et Brody, surtout sexuel, on ne va pas se le cacher, et le besoin de Brody de prendre soin de Noah, à la manière d'un daddy, bien qu'il n'en ait jamais ressenti le besoin jusqu'à présent. Tout de suite, Brody a ressenti le besoin de prendre soin du garçon, de l'amener chez lui alors qu'il a toujours été un homme sans attache, passant de coup d'un soir à un autre sans jamais se poser.
On peut vraiment dire que c'est une romance coup de foudre, les sentiments arrivent très vite pour soutenir le côté BDSM, jusqu'à arriver à la deuxième partie et à la découverte de la vérité.
Après tout s'enchaine très vite, ils vont de voir y faire face, Brody à sa culpabilité et à cette relation interdite, Noah à ses forts sentiments et à ne pas perdre Brody qui veut tout arrêter et à la famille homophobe du plus jeune qui est revenu dans le décor.
On ne peut pas dire que cette histoire soit 100% crédible, il faut le dire, je pense qu'il faut savoir poser son cerveau pour l'apprécier, bien que la plume de l'autrice en face beaucoup, généralement avec Kelex, on sait dans quoi on s'embarque.
Bref, si vous n'avez pas peur de vous lancer dans un tel scénario, cette romance est maintenant à vous !

Enjoyed this a lot!! This one had some extra kinks than the previous book of the series and was a bit longer which was good.
60% of the book passed before they even knew who the other really was so it would've been nice to see some more time when they knew the complete truth but wanted to be together anyway. Very much enjoyed this fun kinky read, but please stop making characters say the word taboo! I'm sure no one would actually ever use that word to describe their own relationship :-/. It's weird.

While I appreciate some of the kink elements in this, the bad still outweighed the good.
I didn't like Noah's mothers. I didn't like their whole reaction to the whole thing. The little dinner. Acting like it's about the age difference, but it really being about who they consider family. Insinuating that Brody would have an sexual interest in his own biological son, who he has actively been involved with as a father because he was sexually involved with a boy of zero blood relation who's mother he happened to have a platonic marriage for child-bearing purposes. Noah and Brody aren't blood related and never had a father/son relationship.
I thought the plot was a bit weak. I would have preferred to see it a little more fleshed out and a little better wrapping up than a glory hole reveal.
Also, while I appreciated the fisting scene, you might want to douche beforehand... or before hand, whichever you prefer.
And then there was the dialogue. It was oddly archaic and very stiff. Though this isn't the first time I've found that with Kelex.
And it will be of no surprise to those that know me, but I hated the epilogue, as I do most epilogues.

Loved this! Noah and Brody have a bit of a taboo love but it endured. This was SO hot and sexy! The HEA was perfect. And the cameos from book 1 were fab!

This is my 50 Shades Of Grey. Brody has got to be my favourite fictional character in any book ever. Bold statement, but very very true. There's dreamboats and then there's those bright big shiny supadupayachts. Brody is defo the latter.

This is my 50 Shades Of Grey. Brody has got to be my favourite fictional character in any book ever. Bold statement, but very very true. There's dreamboats and then there's those bright big shiny supadupayachts. Brody is defo the latter.

His Stepdad Wears Leather (Daddy Tales Book 2)
This one was hard to keep track of who was who with whom at times.
At age 4, Noah was living with his two Moms and his stepdad Brody. When his Moms were on vacation he was left in Brody’s care when he was recovering from knee surgery.
Out of the blue, his biological father Walt came to the house to take Noah to Disneyland. Brody wasn’t aware of such a plan and was uneasy about it but couldn’t stop the father from taking Noah.
Noah wasn’t returned to his home, he was taken to another State to live with Walt and his wife, Abbey Lee. Both of them were avid strict Christians. Noah’s life was a misery and he suffered mental and physical abuse. Just before Noah’s 18th birthday his father discovered that Noah was gay they threatened to take him to conversion therapy. Noah decided to run away and with help from a friend, he got a new ID Card, j Dee a different name and with a different date of birthday, showing him as 19 year old.
His intention was to try and find his Moms even though he had been told by his father Walt that she hadn’t wanted him.
He takes a 3 day journey by bus to an address last known for them. When he arrives at the nearest town an incident occurs that has him running into an late night Gay Bar to avoid a bunch of local drunks.
Sipping his drink at the bar he starts chatting to the bar tender and even flirting with him. This has huge repercussions on Noah and what happens in the following weeks in town.
I liked Noah, Brody not so much, but it was an interesting story.
I hated Walt and his wife and what they represented as a religion, and of course the threats of conversion therapy to Noah.
Characters from other books in this series show up in this story, Anson and Jereme, both lovely characters.

I loved the premise. I really wanted to love the book. I liked parts of it, but so much made me angry.
If this were an IATAH post, the answer would be ESH. Everybody sucks except Noah. Even Brody (though only 70% of the time).
I cannot believe how awful Noah’s Moms’ treated him. If you finally got your kid back after 14 years, why would you kick them out?!? He was taken when he was 4 years old! There should be virtually nothing he could do to make you push him away! And you wanted to make it so your other kid couldn’t see their Dad?
These women were just awful parents. You’d think they wouldn’t be so hateful and judgmental of someone else’s relationship, considering they’re a gay couple.
I also don’t like when the love confessions come at the very end of a book and this wasn’t even a grand confession. Just a “I kinda love you… maybe.”
The epilogue seemed like it was random and just an excuse to say “Hey , they’re still together.”
This could’ve been great if the relationship and get to know you was stronger and if the Stace wasn’t so awful or at least there were a few more chapters for the family drama to resolve and the relationship to develop more.
And for the last time, he’s not his step-father. They were married for business reasons and have been divorced for over a decade.
I’m so grumpy.

Noah is a man on the run, just turned 18 he escapes from his uptight abusive rigidly Christian home. He is running to the only place he feels like he might find safety, the home of the mother who supposedly didn't want him as a small child. Once in town he has to hide from some men that might be out to hurt the new guy getting off the bus. He runs into the first open place he sees, a gay bar. Luckily he has a fake id and makes it in the door. There he sees the hottest Daddy he's ever seen. The feeling is mutual and the heat between this is scorching. Brody Preston is the owner of The Village, a hopping gay bar. Seeing the cute little twink he can't resist he finds something he didn't even know he was missing. Unfortunately, neither realizes that they were connected in the past and that past may end the future that they were heading towards.

A hot Daddy kink romance

This was second in a comtemporary MM Romance series. Daddy-kink, May-December, instalove, HEA. I read this title as a standalone and I quite enjoyed it, an easy read. Oh wow, the hotness factor went high up straight away! There was angst in the theme blurb already gave away. Level not too high. It was well-written and enjoyable. The only critique that came to mind really is that maybe quite everything in the, ehem, hotness sector wasn't quite realistic all considered ... but who cares! Hothothot. I suspect this might be one of the very few Daddy kink titles I've liked. I went and got the book 1 too ...

I adored this story and the lovely characters!
The first half of this story is about how the MCs fell in love at first sight and spent the hottest week together, the latter half involved more about the family issue and the obstacles from age-gap and complicated relationship they had to deal with.
Overall it is sweet and fluffy story with hottest daddy kink scenes. I am more than glad to see Jeremy and Anson appeared sweetly and helpful in this story! Expect more stories of this series!!!

This book was done as a recommendation. OMG glad I took it!
I was in an author page in FB and this book was recommended because of the kink i had heard about. Looked it up and seen it was a new book from A Daddy Tales. Easy read, fast hook up and kink right away. What I was looking for. The taboo was just perfect. Might have to go back and read book one, since it been awhile.

Love this series
I was so excited to see this new book come out. I loved the first book and I loved this one too. Brody and Noah are perfect together. Great story with a Daddy boy relationship. Add in some lace, Yummy!

His Stepdad Wears Leather, a Daddy Tales book 2. Oh wow, that was one hot AF read! *fanning* And so so sweet! I loved the connection and chemistry between Noah and Brody.
This author is so amazing at character development and depth, and giving all the feels. And she knows how to write steamy bedroom activities!
I'm hoping we get Lex's story, soon!

I read it at work this morning! It was wonderful!!! I've not been reading much since everything has been turned upside down and this was the first book I've read in months! Thank you for this because it has pulled me out of a funk!!

Worth the wait
Really enjoyed this story. Noah was quite sure for someone his age and having been sheltered. Knowing that he wanted Brody and was willing to do whatever to get him. I could understand Brody’s anguish. Looking forward to more
