Hellspawn Aftermath

Rate this book
The solid Victorian walls of the prison lay shattered, torn asunder by the retribution of the Gypsy matriarch Claire Hampton. Thousands of the dead, once held at bay, flood into the grounds. Trapped within, surrounded by flesh-eating zombies, engineer Jason Rechtman must reach his wife in the bowels of the facility before it’s too late. After witnessing the explosion, Kurt and the recently arrived remnants of Thorney Barracks army set out on a dangerous mission to rescue the innocent civilians at Ford. What chance do they stand against the legions of undead shuffling inside to feed? Meanwhile, a darkness is rising. Unimaginable horrors, both human and undead, threaten the survivors across the country. The ordeal they have endured up to this point is just a taste of the hell that awaits.

Ricky Fleet has done it again, I love this book and series. This is an emotionally charged, character driven tale of the fight for survival against zombies and waste of skin fellow survivors. The description of a character coming around after being knocked out after an attack is spot on, learning more of DB's back story, the humourous chatter between Braiden, Winston and Sam is hilarious, meeting another threat while also meeting another ally and the kick butt actions of the women are just a few things that I loved about this book 7 in the series. I can't recommend this series enough to anyone who loves the zombie/horror genre. A DEFINITE MUST READ!
