Why read this
This is a BRAVING THE WILDERNESS Book Summary. NOT THE ORIGINAL BOOK.
I thought this book was one of her best. I appreciate how the author is authentic and tells stories of her own life experiences and does not pretend to know everything. It is a great book to keep on hand as a reminder when you feel an emotion you are not comfortable with. I have recommended this book to many people and all come away with whatever it was they needed. Be ready for great perspective.
Excellent read. She offers a viewpoint that humanized EVERYONE, including those we might find vile based on their ideology being so different than our own. This should be required reading for every high school student. Our culture has become so adept at dehumanization. She guides the reader through sharing oxygen and space with those with whom we disagree.
Great audible listen, narrated by the author with excellent style and passion. Makes extraordinary points about authenticity and courage to show up and be seen as your authentic self.
