Rate this book
It’s been five months since an immunization for the flu collapsed civilization.

Mason, an ex-Navy SEAL, and Asher, a back-alley fighter, found each other at an unlikely time. The two never thgouht they’d find pleasure each other’s arms. Then came Sparrow, and both realized they wanted her as badly as they wanted each other.

And they meant to make that their reality.

The world was a dangerous, ugly place, and their trip was filled with fear, pain, and everything in between. But when Sparrow was taken by men who wanted to use her for the only commodity left in this barren world, Mason and Asher would do everything in their power to get her back safely.

As the world collapses after a supposed miracle immunization has an adverse reaction on the population, Sparrow Gray a young woman, is fortunate to be taken in by two men offering her protection.

Mason and Asher were already a couple when they took in Sparrow. She was no fool knowing that there was safety in numbers because being alone was not only dangerous, but a lonely existence.

"All that mattered was not getting attacked by the fucking infected, eaten by the cannibalistic humans, or taken as the sexual plaything for the deranged healthy."

These men are not unaffected by this attractive girl they've offered to help. They have no intentions of forcing themselves on her, however if she's willing, why not embrace the pleasure between the three during these harsh times?

"You have no idea how good it feels having Ash sucking my cock, rolling my balls in his big masculine hand, and having the softness of you pressed against me. It's the best of both worlds."

Sparrow's Flight was another post apocalyptic saga I enjoyed. Honestly, I have an unhealthy fascination for these particular stories filled with zombies/infected, the task of survival and of course the hot sex you would expect at the end of the world. Totally ridiculous I know, but I'm hooked. And one must mention this beautiful cover I adore!

What appears to be a miracle immunisation has massively bad consequences for human civilisation, resulting in a post-apocalyptic world that is filled with dangers. Sparrow Gray has has been surviving on her own, even escaping a pair of cannibals, but when she's hurt she finds aid in the form of Asher and Mason.

Mason and Asher found unexpected comfort and affection in each other when the world went to hell. Both are attracted to Sparrow, but Mason remains wary and somewhat closed off, making Sparrow question whether she should continue travelling with the duo.

I didn't think the extra plot strand with Collin was needed, but I guess he may be getting his own novella or appearing in a future one.

Overall this made for a good quick read, with a nice level of steam.

Book 1 in the Savages/Savage World trilogy and each story can be read as a standalone. MM/MMF romance and it was done so good. Loved Asher, Mason and Sparrow. They were so good together. You can never go wrong with zombies mixed with romance. I loved this story. Kept me on the edge of my seat hoping that they were not going to get infected. The steamy scenes were so hot. I fanned myself so many times. Loved it!!! I can’t wait to read the others in this series.

I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

One of three

This is the first in a trilogy. Completely standalone stories. Sparrow meets up with Ash and Mason when they save her from the infected. I find some parts of this story pretty gruesome, just FYI. Lots of action. It’s much more than a romance, the romance is almost second to the rest of the story. HEA.

I am definitely not a fan of post-apocalyptic stories of any kind. However, I did enjoy this short and smexy tale by Jenika Snow about Sparrow and her sigh-worthy protectors. The story was well written and as realistic as "end of the world" stories can be in how the trio lived and operated. Even at the end when they were happy and settled, they were still on guard. I really liked all three characters and they worked well together -- especially since Mason and Asher were polar opposites. I even liked the "bad guy" Collin who wasn't exactly a bad guy but really was. I know...it doesn't exactly make sense but read the story and you'll understand. I found myself wanting a happily ever after for him because he deserved it. When he could have been bad, he wasn't -- even sacrificing what he wanted to allow the trio to have a happy life together.

The world as we know it has changed; a flu vaccination has annihilated human population. It is unknown how many have survived, the only things one can do is avoid the infected and fight for survival.

This is how Sparrow’s Flight begins and we meet our three main characters; Sparrow our heroine has just joined Asher and Mason. It is now five months after the disaster of the flu vaccination; Asher and Mason have been traveling and surviving together since the beginning.

As you will see as the story unfolds these are two Alpha males with a deep and loving bond. It is in their travels to Mason’s cabin that they rescue Sparrow. The story begins three days after Sparrow’s rescue and she is questioning where she will fit in or if she will even stay with Asher and Mason.

So many questions and emotions are evoked when reading Sparrow’s Flight. What should you do when you are deeply attracted to two men who are already involved romantically with one another? Should you leave the safety and comfort you have finally found in the now desolate world because you don’t want to feel like a third wheel? I asked myself all these questions and more as I anxiously turned the page, for me Sparrow’s Flight is the zombie apocalypse with a beautiful story about love, change and survival.

Mason a former Navy SEAL who had already endured so much and vehemently fought his and Asher’s attraction to Sparrow said it best when summing up the state of their world. “To answer your question, the branches are bare because on the outside it appears dead, but if you look harder, and really see what is there, you will realize that the tree isn’t dead at all. There is still life underneath it all, and we must wait for the seasons to change for that life to come back to us.”

Sparrow’s Flight hit all my buttons because it is written in such a way that the storyline doesn’t seem to farfetched, the characters are those that you can identify with and what lies in between the beginning and the end, well that’s for you the reader to find out. This is a story that pulls something beautiful out of something tragic. Jenika Snow did a great job pairing horror, fantasy, scifi and erotic romance and the best part is that there is more to come because this is the beginning of a series. I give Sparrow’s Flight 5 Stars.

This post apocalyptic romance is a riveting and erotic read that keeps readers on their toes. The author has created a fascinating post apocalyptic future that arouses the curiosity and makes the reader wonder ‘what if?’. While I think it would be better if it had been a little longer, the author managed to pack quite a bit of story into one small package and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Jenika you just busted my Zombie cherry! I loved this book from start to finish, great great story line, character build up and 3 of the best characters to date in her books. You have Ash ex MMA cage fighter, hunky Mason ex Navy SEAL and then you have Sparrow. Let me say that I loved Sparrow, ballsy, take no shit kind of girl. This book starts out fast and never slows down. Well done Jenika, well done.

I read this when it first came out years ago. Loved it then, even though I'm not really into "end of the world" stories, and I still love it. Mason, Archer and Sparrow are traveling together trying to get to a safe place away from a world that has gone mad. Along the way, they encounter humans, who while still healthy, have turned into savages and infected humans. At first, the trust between them is sketchy, but as time goes on, they learn about each other. When Sparrow is kidnapped by ruthless men, it's up to Archer and Mason to save her. Can they do it? I loved watching the connection between these 3 grow as time went on. And the sex scenes between the guys were scorching hot. Yeah, this is an MMF story. It's been cleaned up since it first came out and more has been added to it I did feel bad for Connor though. I'm happy he will be getting a story of his own! Loved this "new-old" book!

Apocalyptic romance

Sparrow, Asher, and Mason are fighting to survive a zombie apocalypse that occured when a cure all vaccine goes horribly wrong, changing vaccinated humans into the undead. Asher and Mason found each other three months before they save Sparrow from an attack. They seek solace in each other while fighting to stay alive and dealing with their own demons. Once Sparrow joins them, they continue a long trek to Mason's isolated cabin, a promise of refuge and safety. I loved this book. I loved the relationship between Asher and Mason. The genuine care and love they had for each other was felt. Sparrow was the missing link and together they formed a family. I'm curious to know more about Collin and can't wait to read his story. This book has some drama, mild angst, and some hot, steamy love between Asher and Mason and then the trio. This is not one to miss!

When I first read the premise, I wasn’t sure, but as soon as I got into the story it was very enjoyable. Sparrow is living in an apocalyptic world, those infected look to feed on those not infected, so it’s always on the run for her. She is taken in by Mason and Asher, who are lovers. She wishes she was part of that with them, but doesn’t know how they would respond to that. As they make their way to a cabin away from civilization, the encounter infected as well as humans, who are pretty much savages.

Sparrow gets kidnapped and saved by someone who is helping her, it’s basically the better of two evils. The guys end up rescuing her and they find their way to the cabin.

The story had lots of drama, suspense, and even amidst all the chaos, some very sexy times.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Wow! I was unable to put this down. It’s an apocalyptic romance with MMF (ménage) thrown that just adds that extra something to the story. It’s all about survival and it all sounds eerily similar to current events...however, it is different.

Sparrow has been alone for so long that it does take her some time to warm up to Asher and Mason and add in their own dynamic and it’s a bit awkward at first.

But I could feel their chemistry and their tension and their restraint in the air. The way they all open up after Sparrow is in trouble is beautiful to see, especially for Mason.

It’s emotional, sweet and of course steamy. But the story is also about survival, hope and learning to trust again in a world where you don’t know if you will survive another day.

I love the extra mystery thrown in with Collin too. Hope to see him again.

This was an interesting take on a post-apocalyptic/dystopian novella. The book is about how the world collapses after a miracle vaccine causes people to either turn into zombies or die from the vaccine.

The story follows two men and a young woman as they try to survive their new world and avoid the infected as well as other survivors who wants to harm them.

Mason and Asher are a couple who help Sparrow when she is attacked and almost killed by an infected. Both men are attracted to Sparrow and although Sparrow is attracted to the men as well, she considers leaving because Mason is rude and makes her feel like she is not wanted around.

The additional storyline with Collin was interesting and he does get his own novella so I’m interested to see how his story turns out.

I loved that this wasn’t just a simple romance novella. Overall, a quick read, but a decent read.

When you read a Jenika Snow book you never really know for sure what’s coming apart from it’s going to be unique and a real page turner.

The world as Mason and Asher know it is over, now they have to adjust to a new dangerous way of life, they’ve accepted it and the new relationship between each other, what they were not expecting was Sparrow, she’s beautiful, innocent and they both want her, but with danger around every corner will they survive long enough to make it happen?.

I love I mean really bloody love when this author reaches into her inner darkness and produces tragically beautiful books like this that reach the very soul of you, that makes your imagination cartwheel. I can’t wait for another from this series.

Story: 🌟 4/5
Spice level - 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5
Re-read/re-listen: Yep! Totally
Recommend: Yes - This is a MMF Novella romance
Trope: Throuple, forced proximity, dooms day

Story:

I really liked this story. It was quick, fast passed. I had it read in a few hours and immediately went and bought the other two books in the series.
Asher and Mason rescue Sparrow from and infected. Amd basically form am attatment quickly. Then end of the world is not healthy humans working together. It is scary and unpredictable. Especially if you are a female.

This book was nuts, and the parallels with the end of the world and today's society is eery. Especially since she wrote this book in 2014.
Like I said. I enjoyed it. Loved the 3 main characters and the binds formed in a short time.

I really enjoyed this book. I don't read a lot the apocalyptic literature but I really enjoyed this one. This was a short book with the main book only spanning 3 days, but it hold my attection through out. I really the all three of the characters and how the each had different types of connections with each other. I really liked how Jenika made this one MM, MMF and MFM(I really hope she does more like these). I honestly liked this book a lot and I liked how it kind of lead on to the second book. I would recommend this book.

The characters have their sh*t past and are really likeable and all , but if wasn’t for the sex I won’t lie I probably was going to be a little bored , because is really predictable and is a short story so ok , but guys ... THE SEX hahaha this is the cherry in the top of this book hahaha I read some RH that has MM topics but ...in this one I was blushing like a virgin so DAMN if I didn’t like hahaha .

I really enjoyed this author’s post apocalyptic world!! I did not read the first version of the story but this one is fan-freaking-tastic!! This story only spans a couple of days but there is so much action, drama and sexy times packed into it. Mason and Asher already had an established relationship but throwing Sparrow into the mix just made them complete. Sparrow is hesitant about getting involved in their relationship but it doesn’t take long for her to see the error of her ways. Both Mason and Asher just want to protect her but she can hold her own but when she gets captured by other humans in this lawless land will Mason and Asher be in time to save her?

I am only currently learning to enjoy post-apocalyptic stories and this one was a wonderful mix of romance, action and a new and different world. It is a MFM so be aware of that. The author did a great job of creating a new world with similar rules but also new and important needs and wants. I liked the characters, their relationship and the way they came together within the larger story. The steamy scenes were just that steamy and the dialogue was great. I enjoyed this story and will be reading the next. A great time lost in another world. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Holy wow! When I started this book I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy it and I should have never doubted Jenika Snow’s writing... it was so good!
The entire MMF relationship was sexy, sweet and hot as hell. Whew! Mason, Asher and Sparrow’s story of finding love in a post apocalyptic world was just what I needed to read. I’m so ready for the rest of the books in this series!!

Enjoyable read.

Nice little story, characters were likable (even the mandatory ahole), relationship-building was light but did flesh out their backstories nicely and the smut was pretty good.

Two things bothered me:
1) the female lead wasting bag space on razors for her personal use, lotion AND freakin' perfume, creating the implication that those things are necessities for and to woman
2) how moronic they were about their safety during the first three-way sex scene

Recommend.

I'm not a Zombie fan but enjoyed this book. Sparrow has been traveling alone but when she finds Mason and Archer they invite her to join them. Although both being straight the men are having a sexual relationship with each other. Sparrow is drawn to them and they to her. Can the make a three some work? MM, MF, and MMF sex scenes.

Although this is not my usual genre, I enjoyed Sparrows Flight. There was some mystery, some suspense and definitely some hot scenes. M/M/F is not my usual either but cannot complain. Sparrow may have found herself unlucky in a post-apocalyptic world but she was really lucky to find Asher and Mason! Looking forward to next book!

Love in the apocalypse

This story isn't some soft, pretty romance. It is terrifying, rough and gritty. I think we have all asked ourselves what would I do if the worst happened. These three people have risen above the horror and found love and hope with each other while staying as true to themselves as they could.
