The second of this series of books I have read. I was worried they would be too similar due to the topics but each gave different insights. The defining quote that particularly resonated was:

Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won't). - James Baraz

Time spent reading this book was thought provoking and was definitely me enjoying the pleasant.

A lot of helpful tips in this one. However, family & work sections are strongly focused on the "typical" situations, office jobs and being a parent, helpful for some, but not all.

I was in a trance reading this and completed it in one sitting. I’ve read it twice now and have given it out as presents.
