So this is why you should save up your free coins and read this as it should be read instead of pirating it, because that's a totally different experience. (Also, if you read this illegally, try not to take a moral high ground in your public review? It's really not a good look.)

Anyway, this is not a soap box moment but my review, so.

(1) I'm also an analogue person who prefers printed materials over digital versions, (2) I'm reading this in a language I'm not fluent in so I'm much slower, and (3) not all the illegal chapters online are translated well. All of that said, this arc read so differently and made more sense in manga form and I'm surprised I didn't catch parts it wanted to say earlier. (Well, maybe it's also because I was reading at 2am.)

Volume 3 of the manga version collects the arc with Jieun (Jiun? I can't spell, sorry). Previously, Sangwoo had a barefoot breakdown outside the house and decided he wanted to always be together with Bum. Now he's playing nicer and buys Bum crutches to help him get out of the house. Bum is confused and terrified of Sangwoo's mood swings. He also knows he can't trust Sangwoo.

So when Sangwoo drags him to a college festival to watch some students perform on stage, Bum tries (unsuccessfully) to leave the guy. Poor Bum, he hears Sangwoo singing and remembers Sangwoo being nice and calling his name gently and he folds.

Meanwhile, Sangwoo's been laying out this trap for Jieun. He wants Bum to kill her so he and Bum can truly be together. It does make some kind of sense, I guess. Before, Bum had always been the victim, but now he'll become an accomplice. And he'd have more reason not to leave Sangwoo.

If you read fan translations, some of what was actually said was lost. (The version I saw had Sangwoo say 'It doesn't matter that those people are annoying, I'll change them later' like he'll change groups of friends? What he actually said was something like 'They were mean to you, but there'll be a payback later'.)

We see more of the girl from Vol 1's flashback. Bum used to have a friend who sought him out because she was also being abused and misery loves company. She managed to get out of the miserable situation, but Bum was left behind. He doesn't resent this so much as her wanting to cut off ties with him. Most of the time, Bum is pitiful and cute, but those moments where he was talking to the girl was pretty bad and we can see why some people find him disgusting. (Which is not to put the blame on him too much, he was also hurting, but also that was pretty mean what they did to each other.)

That bit also explains where the nail varnish bottles and the bra in Bum's apartment came from. He really kept those things until his late 20s....

Also, everyone's so miserable. I just want them all to be happy in another life. The earlier arcs focuses on Bum more, but later on we see more of what makes Sangwoo tick and it's also just as miserable.

Oh the Japanese version has an additional chapter where Sangwoo joins Bum in the shower. I have no idea where this fit in the actual story because Sangwoo is more distant in it than in the actual chapters? (Like saying 'You can look but not touch', sir, you were feeding him your dick earlier in the public toilets?) But Bum looks so beautiful in it. It's a nice and bittersweet moment.

Creo que este tomo fue un poco más leve y menos interesante que los dos anteriores, empezamos a ver una historia algo alterna del policía que ya sospechaba de sangwoo desde antes por la muerte de sus padres y por el hecho de que ve en una cámara a sangwoo metiendo a bum a su casa, empieza a buscar y recolectar información que pueda serle de ayuda y por suerte mira la pierna de bum, para su mala suerte sangwoo regresa y lo encuentra así que le ofrece entrar a revisar y es que yo pensé que iba a matarlo, incluso creo que eso podría a ver evitado muchas cosas pero entiendo que era importante para la trama, el policía no encuentra nada así que se va, pero sangwoo no encuentra a bum en ningún lado y siente ansiedad de que haya huido y lo haya dejado solo, como podemos ver sangwoo realmente empieza a tener una dependencia poco sana por bum, ambos lo tienen es verdad pero con sangwoo siempre es más preocupante porque es una persona voluble, así que sale en su búsqueda y no lo encuentra, así que decide ir a buscarlo y matarlo para borrar ese sentimiento de necesidad que estaba teniendo por él, pero cuando regresa a su casa yoonbum estaba ahí, así que va y lo abraza y le dice que "siempre estarán juntos" realmente no fue romántico, se sintió más como una amenaza que como otra cosa, el tiempo avanza, ambos siguen siendo más cercanos y cómodos el uno con el otro y sangwoo lo lleva a una fiesta con sus amigos, es ahí donde conocemos a minjeu la chica que siempre estaba con sangwoo y por la que yoonbum tenía curiosidad desde el inicio,ella es una chica bonito y privilegiada que se siente atraída por sangwoo y por esa personalidad falsa que él muestra ante los demás, pero al notar que sangwoo esta más interesado en bum que en ella o los demás empieza a sacar un poco más de su carácter y su personalidad real y empieza a ser mala con bum, ya sea diciendo que es muy delgado o que huele mal, la noche termina y sangwoo lleva a bum a casa para mostrarle una sorpresa, bum no sabia que su sorpresa era ver como sangwoo tenis sexo con min jeun, así que solo observa que sucede, sangwoo empieza a hablar con ella y a hacerle preguntas sobre por qué ataco a bum y ella le confiesa sus celos y que apestaba y cosas así, a sangwoo le gustan las pruebas así que esa era una más y para hacer que bum siga creando lazos con él decide entregarle a minjeun como víctima, obviamente bum no quiere matar a nadie pero nos revelan un poco más de su pasado y entra un personaje que será importante más adelante, una chica que también era abusada como él y con el que creo lazos en la secundaria, lazos que se rompieron cuando ella dejo de sufrirlos y donde lo lastimo diciéndole cosas horribles y crueles, las mismas frases que le regresaron cuando minjeun le grito así que cogido por el odio la mata y comparte con sangwoo una muerte más, una unión más y un regalo de sangwoo para demostrarle a bum que le importan sus sentimientos, también su primera vez teniendo sexo, para bum el primero con consentimiento y para sangwoo el primeros sexo gay,todo eso empieza a tejer aún más su cercanía, así que después de unos días empiezan a ir a enterrar el cuerpo de la chica justo donde sangwoo enterró a su padre, sangwoo tiene atracción por el cuerpo femenino de bum y empieza a usar eso como un incentivo para el sexo, ambos entierran a la chica pero dejan adn por todas partes no saben que eso les causará problemas más adelante

Ooooookey. Les recomiendo no pensar '¿que más podría pasar? ya vi todo' puesssss no. Koogi te sorprende y todo parece ir un poco más al extremo.

Pero de pronto, tenemos un poco más de lo que va a suceder cuando cierto policía se comience a interesar en Sangwoo y sabemos que esto va a traer problemas... mas de los que ya hay y con los que nuestros protagonistas parecen estar bastante comodos...

Vuelvo a decir lo mismo que en mi primera reseña, el vinculo entre los protagonistas es lo mas enfermizo, poco sano y fuera de sí que uno podría leer. No comprendo como leo algunas personas hablrme de romance. En fin..
