This book could have been great it had an interesting concept but it was underwhelming. I think with some development and editing it could be very good. The beginning started strong but it felt kind of all over the place and very rushed as a whole. Lots of grammar errors and a few places that I’m guessing the formatting deleted passages because it jumped from a dialogue piece to a song title.
Even at the end of it I was unsure of the reason behind killian even keeping an eye on Luna in the first place which is supposed to be the main plot of the book but it fizzled away too easily and everything was just purely surface level. I will probably keep my eye on the author because I see the potential for a good book from her because the concept was something I can get behind it just needed more fleshing out.

Lunatic is kind of dark, some of you may find it darker than me, but in comparison to most of my dark reads, this is on the lighter end. You will find tons of violence, drug and alcohol use, abuse both psychical and sexual, and a blooming love story. If you're cool with that, continue reading on. Our FMC is named Lunatic, Luna for short, and this girl is 32 flavors of batsh*t crazy. Killian is our MMC, he is definitely the more sane one, but considering he falls for Luna, that's obviously very debatable. Luna has had a messed up life, I mean seriously, her mother tattooed her chest when she was only 7!! Anyway, Luna is starting her senior year of high school, and her first day starts with a bloody fight. Killian witnesses this fight, and thus begins the pursuit of Luna. There is lots of back and forth between these two, and just when Luna finally decides to give in, she discovers that Killian has been keeping a secret from her. This is where the fifth star got cut off. See, Killian is supposedly falling in love with Luna, he knows she doesn't trust easily, and he knows that she's discovered his secret. You would think he'd give her time to calm down, that he'd be begging for her to give him a chance to explain, that he'd put up a fight for this girl he cares for so much. Instead he decides that after she misses school for two days, and hasn't spoken to him, that he should stand in the hallway upon her return with his tongue down the throat of Luna's enemy. Talk about a low blow. Of course these actions of Killian's, plus everything else that has been pushing Luna to the edge, finally sends her over. Lots of chaos and total mayhem erupts, fires, a gun, lots of alcohol, a broken heart, yep destruction and devastation were inevitable. This does finally pull Killian's head out of his a$$, and he becomes completely focused on Luna, on winning her back, and on saving her. Okay, so I've given enough away about this story, now you're just going to have to read it to discover what happens next, and how it ends. I will say that there is a big event, or two, that is about to happen. Everyone will be affected by the devastation to come. And, of course I left out a lot of other details about the story, details you'll want to read, so go read it!

Lunatic(Luna) was raised by her MC President dad, so her eyes have been wide open to the pain others can inflict from a young age.
Her motto is to F*ck or Fight and no one messes with her and gets away with it.

Killian Lucian is the new guy in school and he straight away takes notice of Luna. Where everyone fears her, he is captivated by her and wants her for himself:
’She is absolutely beautiful from her scars to her ‘I dare you to touch me’ glare and psychotic grin. She is stunning.’

There are secrets Luna is hiding in order to protect someone she cares about.
As she continues to suffer in silence in order to protect her own, there is only so much she can take before they break her.
The more you learn about her, you see beyond the chaos and hard exterior and that she is fiercely loyal and has a heart.

Killian can see this in Luna as he continues to be drawn to her, wanting to help and in turn protect her just as fiercely.

I love a story where the main female character is tough, fearless and can throw it down with the best of them. Luna’s tough personality and attitude added to the story in the best way.
The relationship between Luna and Killian is surrounded by secrets, hidden agendas and drama but the one thing that always shines through is their chemistry and need to protect each other from harm.
I also loved their close group of friends. They were fun, loyal and never shied away from confrontation when having each others backs.
With so many other great characters in this story, I hope get their own book too.
I look forward to reading more from this author.

This is a book that I really loved. A lot! Ms Pack is a new and upcoming author that I think we will be reading a lot more from if this book is any indication of her talent. I look forward to reading more from this promising young writer!

Lunatic Marlow. Queen of Chaos. She is aptly named, for this girl is definitely certifiably deranged. Or is she? Luna, as she is called, with her two side kicks, runs the school. Everyone fears these motorcycle-riding, blade-carrying, devil-may-care hellions whose fathers run a Motorcycle Club in town. Until the Lucian boys transfer from their rich Prep School to Luna's school senior year. Killian takes one look at Luna fighting another chick the first day and he's a goner. He has an agenda for being there, but Luna plagues his mind at every turn. He is fascinated by her. But the Lucian boys stand up to Chaos and don't take their crap.

You can feel the chemistry between Luna and Killian and I was rooting for them. The slow burn was perfect with the push and pull between them and when it finally burst into flames I was - Yay! But then there is miscommunication and Killian made me so mad by his stupid actions I wanted to slap him! Luna might be bat-shit crazy but man, she had a lot of stuff to deal with! Grrr, the angst! Oh, I love angst by the way!

Well, there is so much happening in this book! Shooting, arson, blackmail, cheating (not our MCs),drugs, alcohol, but most of all love, romance, and a Happily Ever After (or at least for now because they are so young.) But I hope we get more from these characters, and see them helping each other heal.

This was one of those books that you feel what the characters are going thru and when that happens you know that the author has really done it, made that connection with the reader. I think the flow of the writing needs a little tweaking, so that is the reason I'm giving it 4-1/2 STARS when it could clearly be 5 STARS!

Good but a let down

I love the stories line how the chic is awesome, but the ending needed more or a second book to finish it.

There was no character descriptions and barely any character development.
The story was extremely all over the place.
It was a DNF for me :(
