The heart doesn’t forget…

The memory of that day still haunts Shylah Kemp. Eden had asked her to wait for him, to remain at the safe house while he went on a mission. But when she learned he was being setup, she didn’t have a choice. She had to do something.

It was a risk…and Shylah paid dearly.

Eden Cole is not the man he once was. Not since returning from his mission to find his whole world changed. Being betrayed by his own government would change any man. Betrayal by the woman he loved—that nearly broke him.

When his woman suddenly shows up in Marble Falls fourteen months later, Eden is determined to learn why Shylah had disappeared without a trace…and put an end to the danger that’s followed in her wake.

Secrets and misunderstandings!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 🖤💙❤️💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍🌏
Character development: 😚☹️🥹😉
Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Shylah Kemp - She had been in love with Eden Cole and couldn’t picture a life without him. She was left behind on base when he was sent on a mission, which she found out was a suicide mission. She broke into Project Arma headquarters on the day that the Government was going raid the facility. She found that the building had been emptied out and most of the evidence had been removed. She knew she had 30 minutes before Eden could be dead. Shylah sent the team a forged email from their commander telling them to abort the mission, right before that same commander shot her.

The Hero: Eden Cole - he was a Navy SEAL before he and his teammates were betrayed by their commander who most likely took money to put their team into an unsanctioned experimental program to turn them into super-soldiers via genetic manipulation. Now, fourteen months after the raid, they are free and living a somewhat normal life and they own a security and protection business together. Though they are still searching for their old leader and the others that did this to them without their knowledge or consent. Eden also wants to find Shylah, the woman he loved who betrayed him and disappeared without a trace

The Story: Eden has been ruled by anger over the past year. Shylah was just another of the people he and his teammates had trusted when they shouldn’t have. One day when he put his hand through some glass, one of his friends makes him go to the hospital and is surprised to see that Shylah is his nurse. Shylah had spent the last fourteen months recovering and moved to Marble Falls to see him again. She was surprised at his angry reaction to her. She thought he should have trusted her, and his lack of faith had worried her.

One thing I hate in books is when there is a misunderstanding and instead of just having the character explain what happened or their side of the story, they take the high road and think they shouldn’t have to explain or the other person doesn’t deserve an explanation, so the characters go on being angry at each other for no reason. That happened in this book, and it took quite a while before Shylah finally gave up her secrets.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Janine Granda and Jack Calihan. Janine Granda has a nice voice and sounds about the age Shylah should be. I hadn’t heard her narration before and liked her. Jack Calihan has a soft gravelly voice that is pleasing, though he does sound an older than what Eden should be (late twenties, or early thirties).

4.5⭐️ Shylah & Eden 😍

Eden no longer trusts after the woman he thought he knew and loved betrayed him and his brothers. He’s closed himself off and he doesn’t care. When he runs into her at the local hospital, he has a lot of questions. Shylah only did what she thought was right at the time. She never expected anything but a warm welcome when they finally reunited but he no longer looks at her like he did 14 months ago. Can she prove herself? Can Eden trust her again?

Absolutely loved them! Eden is so gruff and rude but when he’s with Shylah, he’s a completely different person. It was so sweet to see him involve himself in everyone’s lives instead of just existing. I love that her love did that for him. Shylah is so tough, I admire her for everything she did to protect him. They may have been separated for some time but their love never died.

Cannot wait for Asher & Lexie ❤️

Wow, this series has sucked me in, hook, line and sinker. Great characters, plenty of action, intrigue, I could not put down. If you’ve read Maya Banks or Cristin Harber you will love Nyssa Kathryn. The underlying story to the series is weaved through each book, but each book has another one of the SEALS finding their HEA.

This was good but there were things that I didn't like about it. Shylah loves Eden and risks it all to save him when she finds out he's in danger. Then something happens to her and she basically ghosts him for 14 months. I get that she was going through something difficult, but she should have contacted him as soon as she was able, even if she didn't want to see him. Instead, he's left wondering what happened to the woman that he loves. Not knowing if she's alive or dead, or if she betrayed him. I think it was selfish and cruel of her to disappear like that. If she really loved him why would she do that?

I felt that Eden's anger was justified but he didn't need to act like a dick when she reappeared in his life. Though Shylah compounds the issue when she initially refuses to explain where she's been because she's upset that he doesn't trust her. Not sure why she expected him to welcome her with open arms after she disappeared from his life without a word for 14 months. She's lucky that he didn't move on and start dating other people.

The "bad guy" was obvious to me from the beginning. I think Shylah or the guys should have caught on to it sooner.

Overall, it was good, I just don't like when lack of communication is used as a main plot device. When simple communication would have prevented all sorts of upset.

A Fantastic Read with Emotions, Truths Reveal, A new Crazy Drug AND a 2nd chance at Love (Though they Never stopped Loving!). DEVOURED this in a few hours! Love these two so damn much❤.

ARC Received for a honest review.

BACKGROUND: So I binge read the previous two books to read this one, I highly Recommend them! They're amazing + You'll understand the facts better. Definitely read Uncovering Project Arma! It has How Eden+Shylah fell in love. We know from that she's the one who saved Eden & his team by Finding evidence against ARMA. Here She Reveals that to him, & we find how much she sacrificed for Eden's safety. It's been 14 months Since that Fateful Day..

Their Reunion wasn't how she imagined..
In the hospital + So much Anger in his eyes.. Needing Answers.

She was Back For Eden.. But he? He's not the same..But she's not whole too.
Even after they talked, his Distrust was obvious *Breaking Her heart*. He was scared To trust again. AND She was still hiding this:
Why had she vanished? Where had she been all this time? Why won't she just tell this too?
Their Confusion, Sadness, Emotions, Few Answers.. My heart was aching.

But even through this all: Duties, Weirdo Doc, Our Guys & Shy working together, Lake trouble, Nerves, Drama.. Eden protected/Stalked her.. Someone was Targeting her. Why? Who? Since When?

As days passed, wanting her from afar (Got close too! *Wink*), he knew he won't survive if she leaves again (They love eachother too damn much!) He finally opens up to her *yay!*. They'll take it slow..For Now.

Then A Break in *Scary*, Moving in, Trust grows.. She finally reveals Her Full Truth (What part of her did she sacrificed to save them?
), Love Forever *yes!*, Good times..

For their HEA, it's important: Who's After Her?
There's A Crazy New Drug (Shit, it's ARMA!), Lots of Action, An attack on her, Alpha+Sweet Eden *HOT*, AND The Heart-racing Climax!
The Enemy has been Close all along.. Watching.

I'm so happy Eden+Shy found their way to eachother again! Anyone who've read Luca's story knows how angry ass E's been. Shy's good for Eden (All guys are happy!) These two Deserved Their HEA❤ Fought for it too..A Bright Future.
She's Happy, finally. This time, Forever.

It's Evident from what the Guys found by Raids here that Project Arma is far from over. How Deep does it go? Where are the all key players? What are they plotting NOW?

P.s. Shylah's a great Nurse! She'd never had close friends, I'm happy She found that with Evie & Lexie!

P.p.s. Lexie & Asher are a thing, but I wonder what A's aversion to relation is? He wants her in his life obviously (The epilogue from Ash's PoV!), I also wonder how he'll do that after her ultimatum?
So excited for Asher+Lexie's story!

So riveting!

After watching Eden so hurt and angry in the first book, I was dying to get to his story. And I was not disappointed.
The situation was bad for both Eden and Shylah, and I most certainly don't blame her for what happened. To be fair, they both made mistakes based on hurt, pain, and for not trusting their love would be strong enough to deal with whatever it was they were facing.

After their time apart, their communication was troubled and their trust was tainted. But their love was still very much alive, and so was their desire.
Once secrets were revealed and they were finally finding their way back to each other, their love (and their lives) were once again put to test, and this time it could be irreversible.
I don't want to spoil anything, but oh my, the way Eden proved how strong his love was was absolutely marvelous.

I just couldn't stop reading this book.
This series is proving to be addictive and I need my next fix.

I found this book better than Luca. I thought while reading Luca that Nyssa Katherine showed promise and she came through with this book.

The premise of the Project Arma series is Navy SEAL team agreed to a project that would increase their special skills even more. What they did NOT know was that it included being injected with drugs that would change their bodies by enhancing speed, sight, hearing, healing and other capabilities and that the people behind it, including their commander, were evil incarnate and their team would be betrayed and marked for death.

This all happened before the series begins. In the first book secondary character Eden is a changed man. He is angry and suspicious of anyone other than his team. He believes a nurse, Shayla, with whom he was desperately in love with was involved in the experiment was a large part of their betrayal.

It’s now a number of years of years later and he’s shocked when he runs into her at the hospital in the small town the team has settled in. She is devastated when she realizes he blames her and now hates her. She has never stopped loving Eden and indeed played a huge role in their survival.

This is the story of them opening up about what happened and trying to see if they have any chance of being together again. It’s a good romance and also a good suspense as Eden and the rest of the team try to uncover the truth about what happened and what is still going on. This book begins very shortly after the previous book ends and I think won’t work well as stand alone books. While there is a resolution to each couple, it’s a series that builds as more and more of the mystery is uncovered in each successive book. I’m really looking forward to the next instalment and this book gets a thumbs up from me.

I have been patiently waiting for this third book to be released, OMG let me tell you it is so worth the wait! Honestly, I am so awed by this author’s writing, she has everything I adore in a book: fantastic characters, a great sense of humour, incredible suspense and mystery as well as romance to set you on fire!

Finally, Shylah and Eden get together again. Things aren’t all smooth sailing for them but then when Shylah reveals what her life has been like over the previous fourteen months and you realise how tricky everything is for everyone involved. Shylah and Eden together are still hot as the brightest flame, their chemistry is combustible.

I had no trouble visualising each scene clearly with the detailed descriptions used in the book and the fabulous expressions and sayings the characters mainly think but say too, they literally had me laughing out loud. I actually had to stop and share some with my husband because he wanted to know why suddenly out of the blue I was chuckling. 😆

The overall content is one of suspense and mystery with a second chance at love romance. Woven into these is a great sense of humour, as stated, that balances things beautifully. Continuing on from the previous books Project Arma is still up and running, just in secret! New aspects and secrets are revealed that will curl your hair with their deviousness. Who to trust in the government seems to be a worry too.

Eden is another sensational book that cements my absolute believe that this author is going places with her wonderful stories and imagination.

✳️✳️ONE ACTION PACKED TREAT✳️✳️
Buckle up! Nyssa totally nailed this bad boy right from the start, keeping you riveted on a razors edge and frozen to your seat, spinning this action packed, hard hitting, block buster, laying it on thick and spicy, wrapping this gem up sleek, shiny and tight. A raging tempest of dubious events and vexing exigency, mark the formidable trials and thrilling triumphs, clocking the deadly twist and intricate turns, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never imagined. Chicanery runs rampant and deception is rife, exposing the daring drama, damning revelations, nerve racking intrigue, escalating danger, spiraling suspense and intense situations along with a boatload of betrayal, you have one mind-blowing masterpiece. Restrictions are heightened and stretched, laying out all the hard facts, deals and debacles, igniting one high octane spin with such exuberance and ardor, blasting this jewel to life spectacularly. The attraction and chemistry collides with such intensity, exposing profound emotions, drawing our characters closer, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits adding depth and diversity, transforming into genuine charismatic personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels like you can just reach out and touch it. Remarkable job Nyssa, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

We are back with the former Navy SEALs that for ten months were part of a project with the intend of enhancing their body. Guineas in a drug trial that was off the books and one that almost got them killed. Even after they left the project, it appears that the project has continued creating men who have become animals and killers.
Eden Cole, one of the original Project ARMA men, has been intolerable and filled with anger for the last fourteen months. Thinking that the woman he loved and later disappeared had betrayed them all.
Little does he know Shylah Kemp, almost died protecting him and his friends. When they meet again, he is still filled with anger and doesn’t trust Shylah. When truths are confessed, all seems to be working well until danger comes back to threaten all their lives.
This book is filled with suspense, heartbreaking moments as well as heartwarming ones. Will they survive the evil that keeps on getting stronger, or will the past and the present be too dangerous to overcome?
I loved the story and though I missed Luca’s book, I highly recommend that if you haven’t read Uncovering Project ARMA, you do so. It’s the prequel that introduces the SEALs , the project and the beginning of Eden’s and Shylah’s love affair.
Can’t wait to see what else this talented author has in store for us.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This series just keeps getting more intense. The author has given us another well written, suspenseful romance in the Project ARMA series. This is Eden’s story and I am so excited that the author did him proud. If you have kept up with the series, you know the sexy friendly Navy Seal has become a short-fused, ill-tempered guy who snaps at everyone. Eden is having a very tough time dealing with everything that has happened: finding out what project ARMA was doing to him and his seal team brothers, trying to track down all those responsible (who always seem to be one step ahead of them) and most importantly dealing with Grace’s disappearance without a single word. A woman who he thought was going to be his other half for life that he loved unconditionally.

In Eden’s story we find out exactly what happened to Grace and where she has been for the past 14 months since project ARMA imploded around them. What happens when Eden and Grace bump into each other by total accident? Can she explain where she’s been? Is she a part of ARMA like Eden suspects? Can Eden ever trust her? Will their lives ever go back to the way it was - the two of them hopelessly in love?

Kudos Ms Kathryn for giving Eden such an amazing storyline. This is a 5 Star Read in a Must Read/Highly Recommended series and this reader can’t wait to find out what happens next when Book 3 (Asher’s story) hits the shelves. 2 Thumbs Up!!!

Omg, I have been waiting to read this book since first meeting this couple in this authors debut novella. Ever since reading her, I have been shoving her books at anyone who would listen, as I would put these books/This author at the top any list of debut authors for 2020 (something good has to come out of this year!). Honestly this book has been glaring at me prettily from my kindle for over a week, it's been a struggle not to much up my reading schedule...

Ok enough gushing, let's get to the actual book...

As much as I LOVED Luca and Evie's story, this is the one I've been dying for after that showstopper of a prequel, and boy from the start alone you know it's going to be worth that wait.

It's been 14 months since they last saw each other and the second they reunite, the sparks fly in more ways than one...

Will this finally be the time for their happy ever after, or will they be torn apart again? The road isn't without plenty of potholes that's for sure... Like the other books preceding this one, I was engrossed from cover to cover, one things for sure, you'll definitely enjoy the journey no matter the outcome.

Cannot wait to see what happens next...

Eden is book two in the Project Arma series by Nyssa Kathryn. Fourteen months earlier, Shylah Kemp left the safe house that her boyfriend Eden had organised for her to stop the massacre of Eden Cole and his team. During the rescue, Shylah Kemp suffered a series injury. Eden Cole was angry and felt betrayed by Shylah, and he wanted answers when Shylah turned up in Marble Falls Hospital. Will Eden Cole and Shylah Kemp get back together? The readers of Eden will continue to follow Eden Cole and Shylah Kemp to discover what happens.

Eden is another fantastic book by Nyssa Kathryn that kept up the tradition for me. Reading Eden kept up the tradition of engaging with Nyssa Kathryn's characters and the story from the first page. I love Nyssa Kathryn's portrayal of her characters and how they interact throughout this book. Eden is well-written and researched by Nyssa Kathryn. I like Nyssa Kathryn's description of the setting of Eden, which allowed me to imagine being part of the book's plot.

The readers of Eden will learn about running a small security protection company. Also, the readers of Eden will learn about nurses in a small community.

I recommend this book.

I am love with this series.

Eden was part of Arma a secret project that makes soldier stronger faster, lethal. When the project was terminated and the soldiers found out the truth behind the drugs Shy disappeared. Eden was beside himself trying to figure out if the woman he loves was part of the cover up or an innocent bystander. Shy might be dead or held captive he has no idea and not knowing is making Eden a grumpy ass.

Shy is on a mission to get better and go get her man. Now that her healing is co.posted and she feels healthier she is heading out to find Eden. Things don't go as planned since Eden has so many questions and very little trust.

Shy and Eden have agreed no more secrets. The truth strengthens their relationship and now that everything is out in the open they can move forward.

The guys are still on a mission to find the other people responsible for Project Arma.

Eden is the third book in the Project Arma series by Nyssa Kathryn.
After not knowing where Shylah was for fourteen months, Eden finally meets Shylah and needs answers.
Shylah did everything to save the man she loves. But what she finds is anger and distrust. Poor Shy went through a lot. My heart broke for her.
Eden was one sexy super soldier. His love for Shy was strong, even though he didn’t trust her anymore.
Love this book so much. Very good written and the suspense had me at the edge of my seat.
The chemistry and attraction between Eden and Shylah was hot.
This book has everything I love in a book, drama, suspense and protective alpha males.
Can’t wait now for Asher’s book.

Shylah found her way back to Eden after 14 months. She has spent the last year healing and hiding. Instead of being happy to see her he doesn’t trust her, not at all what she expected. Eden has spent the last year hunting those who were involved in Project ARMA. Can Shylah reveal her secrets to win back Eden’s trust and love?

Nyssa Kathryn has created such an amazing series. She has created characters I have totally fallen in love with. Eden’s story is so emotional. It has romance, suspense and a little bit of heartbreak. The author has taken a military story and given it a unique twist. I can’t wait until the rest of the team get their stories.

Another exciting, well written book by Nyssa Kathryn! Eden reads as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading Uncovering Project Arma (prequel) and Luca (Book #1) before starting Eden. The series includes a suspenseful plot that impacts the characters throughout. Also, Project Arma introduces Eden and Shylah so you get a glimpse of the start of their relationship and what went wrong.
Eden, book 2 in the series is a second chance romance that has both characters battling the decisions made to separate them and the outcomes that occurred. While working their way back together the group is dealing with discovering new information about Project Arma and what is still going on.
Nyssa gives you everything in a great Romantic Suspense novel – a hot couple, suspense, twists, awesome secondary characters, military men, strong woman, love, and a HEA.
Can’t wait for book 3!

This man was INSUFFERABLE!! I get being mad thinking she betrayed you but after she literally bears her soul out you think “oh yeah it’s a good time to leave” BITCH! PATHETIC! And I don’t care if he apologized he’s a fucking cry baby who needs to get a grip. The whole book he was all “woe is me boo hoo” like girl SHUT UP! She went through so much for his annoying ass and for what? I hate him and he should’ve died. Yeah I said it. Bitch ass. She deserves better. Everytime she said she wasn’t good enough I wanted to slap some sense into her. Like he’s not the fucking sun bitch, you are. GET UP!

Eden Cole lived and breathed his job as a Navy SEAL, but when his team participate in Project Arma, their lives are changed forever. The Project is cancelled (read Uncovering Project Arma) when Shylah Kemp, a nurse accidentally hears that the true motives behind the project isn’t what's expected...

Eden and Shylah met while he was part of the project and started dating. Shylah couldn't believe that someone like Eden could want to be with her and after the Project Arma raid, she needs time to heal...

Eden and his team is trying to find all the people who were involved with Project Arma, and when their last mission turns out to be a suicide mission and he returns to find Shylah is gone, he can't help but wonder, if she was using him.

Shylah and Eden meet again and sparks fly. Can Eden trust Shylah or will he push her away?

Don't miss this book. And if you can, start with the first book in the series, Uncovering Project Arma and read Luca, the second book. I found this series by accident and must say I am hooked. Can't wait to find out what happens in the next book.

I received an advance copy of this book from the Author. Leaving this review because it really is an awesome book and a must read. Don’t miss out!!!

What a great book! This is the first book in this series but will go back and read the others as I don't want to miss anything. This is so full of action and hot hot guys.
Eden was hot, gruff, rage full but not to Shylah, in top form and a teddy bear inside.
I enjoyed the mystery and intrigue that went along in the story and the final ending also. Such a fantastic story and one I'll be reading more of in future.
This was an ARC and this is my honest review.

A super Solider whose trust in life and the human race is comprised.

A nurse who has to overcome some wrongs to have the love of her life back.

Eden’s life wasn’t easy. As a Seal he learnt the value of family, trust loyalty when all that changes he is left angry and bitter. Wanting the one thing that he feels betrayed him.
Shyla’s tried doing the right thing only to hurt the person she loved the most.

This book is a great read, it has heart and action and you can’t help yelling at the characters to pull their heads in and make up.
Nyssa Kathryn knocked it out of the park. A captivating story and a book that you simply can’t put down.

Wow, can you say roller coaster ride. But it was amazing, they Shy and Eden have a very rocky relationship to say the least! Shylah gave up everything to save Eden and he had no idea, all he knew was the love of his life left and to say he was angry would be a understatement. Shylah has been through so much and when she sees Eden again she’s so excited and until she notices this won’t be a happy reunion lol.

Another hit from this amazing new author!! Eden and his team have been betrayed. They were saved just in time. Shylah has waited for the moment she could be reunited with the man she loves and risked everything for but all she finds is a man full of anger and distrust.
Action, drama, alpha super soldiers, secret government projects and a love so strong it can survive anything.

"I want to be there no matter how hard it is. I want to be by your side in the worst times and the best ones. You are the single most important thing in my life, Shy. You've been my everything since the moment I met you."

"I don't know how not to love you, Shy." Pushing his face into her hair, Eden inhaled her scent. "God, I've missed you."

I absolutely love this new series it’s so well written the characters just pop!! I can’t wait for Asher and Lexi’s book coming in November.

You really need to read the prequel before you read this book.

Thank you Give Me Books for the Arc of this book for my honest review.

Brilliant, ended up reading it in One sitting! Will past betrayal prevent current trust? Will they even be able to survive to experience their love again, or will Project Alma win this time? There are many twists and turns in the book meaning you have to keep reading as you are never sure what will happen next to our hero, his heroine and their friends. I was “on the edge of my seat” for a lot of the story.
If you want a book with strong male and female roles, a storyline that keeps you wanting to turn to the next page, this is the one for you.
