I picked up Strangedust: A Which Where Prequel by Phoenix Ward because I liked other works by this author. Strangedust was very different from what I had expected. The style is less sophisticated and the humor is more child-like then I would have liked. Definitely not my cup of tea and not conducive to reading the sequel.

If you are a young adult who likes humor and Sci-Fi you might enjoy Strangedust. Otherwise, wait for more a more refined work by this author.

This has to be one of the strangest sci-fi tales I have ever read.
It has humor, low level violence, a modicum of sadness, and triumph.
Very engaging, a one session read for me.
Looking forward to reading the sequel.
