Nothing really stands out, but it's amusing to read. A type of escapism manga that one would read when they wanted to sit back and relax. No need for extraneous drama. The plot isn't something you'll remember for a long time, but the characters will. What bothered me the most was the same irritating jumble of "oh my gosh, we're dating!" Does that imply *gasp!* kissing?!"
Đọc truyện + xem phim = melted heart Kiểu nó kute dữ dội á <3333 Hay nhưng hơi ngắn và mình mong có thêm cảnh Naoya bobo Fukou hơn, mốt chiếc couple đáng iuu ^^ かわいい、すごい!シーズン2が出るかどうかはわかりませんが、出る場合は待ちます!
fukou is unlucky. because of that, he bravely shows a bright smile when he is actually extremely angry and upset. naoya is lucky, the luckiest at his school. whenever fukou is with naoya, he gets a taste of a normal life without anything breaking, hitting or getting him dirty. to stay together and stay lucky. fukou goes out with naoya, and everything gets out of hand. what will happen? can fukou hide his true self to naoya?
i liked it ! but this needs for depth and story. it's pretty fast paste, and you don't get to enjoy and get attached to the characters. it's very unfortunate. but overall, the trope is great !
Read: Thursday July 17,2025 The story of Mr.Unlucky follows Kota Fukuhara a secretly "foul mouthed" 20 years old college student with a history of long lived bad luck. One day while Fuku was traveling to meet up with some classmates at a restaurant he was nearly hit by a car but despite his bad luck that evening he was saved by a man named Naoya Shinomiya. He later finds out that Shinomiya is known for having extraordinary luck! Naturally Fuku decides to stick around Shinomiya so he asks to go out with him. Shinomiya mistakenly thought Fukuhara wanted a romantic relationship and so he kissed Fuku and so the misunderstanding continues. Over the course of the story Fukuhara starts to fall in love with Shinohara and so he starts to feel guilty about his reasons for taking advantage of Shino's misunderstanding. Fuku decides to tell the truth and instead of continuing to deceive Shinomiya but despite knowing Fukuhara's intentions for approaching him he forgives Fuku and decides to continue their relationship. Now despite this story being a silly romantic comedy it was fun to read. Shinomiya reminded me of Tanaka from "Living with him" and Haruto from Kono te wo hanasanai(please keep holding my hand/never let go). All three characters are considerate, kind and have genuine enjoyment from making people happy around them however Shinomiya's kindness, consideration and compassion seems more natural because unlike Tanaka because this the writer shows his actions rather than have others constantly tell the readers how perfect Shinomiya is. Shinomiya doesn't force his feelings on Fukuhara and respects his boundaries. If Fuku doesn't want to receive a kiss,Shino backs away. That is my favorite part about this story. I adore when the love interest/lover is respectful, kind and thoughtful. This story is adapted to TV. I hope I like it as much as I liked volume 1 of Mr.Unlucky. Edit: I just realized this manga has the author as Aoi hitomi no bakemono.😯✨
Kota Fukuhara, age 20, is extremely unlucky. Like, ceilings literally fall on his head, unlucky. He just happens to be rescued one day by the college hottie, Shinomaya, who happens to be extremely lucky. Kota figures that if he can just get Shinomaya to stick around long enough, maybe his good lucky will counteract Kota's rotten - often dangerous - bad luck. Only, Shinomaya misunderstands and...they start dating!
The dating twist definitely took me back to My Love Mix-Up!, Vol. 1 but I love that this one ended up far more honest, much quicker and that left Shinomaya and Kota more time to explore who each other really were, beyond the misconceptions.
I love that we got to see all the frankly surreal stuff that happened to Kota and how the accidental confession came about completely organically and not at all through deliberate manipulation. I loved his inner turmoil, as he started to have feelings for Shinomaya, and even before when he just felt bad about using a friend for nefarious purposes.
Naoya Shinomaya was adorable! He's like a loyal puppy at times, but then he's a bit of a pushy, protective guard dog at others. I loved that their luck often counteracted each other, so that although Kota's bad luck mojo faded when they were together, it never entirely disappeared and Naoya's good luck was only minimally affected.
5/5🌟 This one is soo good,so hilarious and cutee😍😍 The art is gorgeous too.The plot is not heavy,no big drama, you can just binge it one day, easy fluffy read.
I think it can be more longer,we need more of their interactions for being lovers😭😭cause it's too adorable. Loveee it😩😩👌
"Soy como un jugador cuya suerte no se desmiente nunca y le hace apoderarse del pequeño fragmento que completará de primera intención el rompecabezas de su deseo" Barthes, R. (1977). fragmentos de un discurso amoroso. turolero.
Good story. The plot progression was logical and realistic. Good art. I had no trouble determining who was speaking. I laughed out loud several times. I think I’ll get the sequel.
Perfect, just to be happy for a cute couple. Really don't expect a super complex plot. And the drama that is ongoing just made me more happy reading it.
Adorable and pure, with a wonderful unlikely premise, that one too lucky person and one too unlucky person could neutralize their weird luck extremes and be happy together.
