A fascinating and diverse look at the Irish diaspora from a historical perspective in essays / articles written by various historians and researchers in this anthology edited by John Gibney.
At times a bit dry / difficult to read for the lay person, there's a wealth of new information here on the role that Irish people have played in various countries across the world throughout history.
