I paid a ridiculous price for this and it was worth every penny to me.
I have loved this guy since I was at college doing homework and staying up till like 5.30am watching the double bills on S4C.
Huge fan and this book was so detailed, from his childhood, work in the theatres and film, his drinking, financial issues.
So much other extra on the film and theatre industry at the time, pictures I had never seen before.
Been trying to get a copy of this for many, many years.
It was everything I wanted and more.
A wonderful read and privileged to own this as I know how rare it is.
A true genius of stage and screen and sadly a little known or even recognised talent and pretty much forgotten these days though to me he had a charisma all his own and WAS Sweeney Todd no matter who played him later.
A lost and forgotten treasure and should be remembered a lot more in horror circles than he is.
There is nothing more to say as I am aware I'm such a fan I'm purely biased.
He is a true hero of mine and my all time favourite actor.
