In Wild County the Mountain Men are big, bearded, and brooding. This is Vick's story.
Vick: I moved to Wild County to escape it all. Mountain town life is simple, and exactly what I was craving. Then I meet Chloe, and my world's turned upside down. With her metaphysical café and bookstore right across the street from my garage, She's anything but simple. She reads Tarot cards and has full on premonitions. As a man who works with my hands, I believe in what I can touch and see. But the curvy blonde goddess is slowly making me a believer. Maybe fate is real? If so, it's definitely written in the stars that I'm about to make Chloe mine. Forever.
Vick is the first standalone short romance read in the Wild County Curves series. All four books can be read separately, but the stories are interconnected. This insta love romance short story features a billionaire mountain man and the curvy woman of his dreams. It’s the perfect short romance read when you’re crunched for time, but want a high heat quickie romance to hold you over. If you love an OTT alpha man and a confident curvy heroine, this is the one hour short reads romance for you!
“Destiny isn’t following what other people tell you that you’re here to do. It’s trusting your own inner voice pointing you where you need to go.”
This is what this story is about. I love Chloe and her witchy ways as I’m all about that. Her and Vick are destined to be and this is all about following your instincts and not letting opportunities pass you by.
This is short but sweet and sexy and has a perfect setup for the next book. I think I’ve discovered another author to follow for short and sexy stories.

Her witchy ways cast a spell......or is it the Devil Card that she pulled
Vick Tucker moved to Wild County three years ago from the city. He is a mechanic who opened and runs Vic's Auto Body. Chloe Revelle grew up in a small midwest town and moved to Wild County a year ago after trying to live in the city. She has opened The Fated Cup, a metaphysical cafe and bookshop where she also does tarot readings and astrology. Chloe has always been a little different, weird you might say. As a kid she was made fun of but in Wild County she has been accepted, made friends and her business is doing well. One day Chloe drives her VW Bug into Vic's parking lot one day because she feels that something not quite right, as in about to go wrong. Vic checks it over but cannot find anything that appears to be wrong. But as she is worried he gives her his card and tells her to phone if she needs anything. So Chloe goes to the cafe and gets on with her day. But for both Chloe and Vic that one meeting has sparked something deeper in both of them. They have both been aware of and watching each other for a while now as their businesses are across the street from each other so it has not been hard to do. With a storm coming down Chloe closes up early and heads for home, driving out of town and onto back country roads. But when her feeling becomes reality and something does go wrong it is Vic's card that she thinks of and makes a call. Vic is all to happy to jump in his truck and rescue her, even taking her to his mansion when he cannot fix her car on the side of the road. it seems Vic has been hiding a few things from everyone in town and Chloe is about to find out that pulling that one last card from her Tarot deck before leaving the store is about to come true
Vick is the first book in the Wild County Curves series. It is an OTT, fun, sweet, and dirty short story about a possessive and protective Alpha Mountain Man and the beautiful, curvy and weird woman who bewitches him. This was an entertaining and very likable story to read.
He noticed her since she moved in and stated her shop across the street from him. And the same for her noticing him. Her friend did a reading tarot cards for her . A certain card that pops up always meant car trouble. So she rakes it to him to check out and when he did nothing was out of place. He gives her his card if something does happens to call him. S bad storm happens and she has a blow out thank goodness she has his card. Here he cones to rescus and brought the wrong tire, so to his house. They get to kb Now one another, hes from money not wanting what his parents wanted and she has premonition and believed in fated, how badly she was teased and such.
I want more of Cloe ! She was cool, "a lil witchy," "my witchy Cloe" . Vick was sweet too. Liked their story and how the got together with her "intuition/tarot cards" reading ways. It was fun. And yea, I believe in that stuff to an extent. ..
( Not related to book just own personal opinions here, I think people like Cloe aren't as crazy or uncommon as we make them out to be people get ridiculed enough over something , and for the most part they stop sharing those thoughts with others, not that they stop having them... Empath here.. It's really science if you break it down; energy, frequently waves, if you can make a radio to tune into a station, think of it as brain waves dialling into picking up of certain frequencies...
What a wonderful new series! I love the idea that Chloe is a little different from everyone else, that she trusts her instincts and the universe to guide her. She's a little weird, a lot of fun, mostly sweet, and somewhat fiesty. Vick fled the city and the regimented life his parents had planned for him. He long ago lost touch with his intuition, but he knows that Chloe is the one for him. He's kind, patient, loving, and open to the unexpected. Definitely a blue-collar instalove story, and oh so fun to read! Can't wait to see what comes next!

This is the first book in this series and a first time read of this author by me and I was impressed It is a great fun story that flowed well and only took a little while to read so perfect for these busy times
Vick escaped to the mountains when his parents tried to control him and put him into a regimented lifestyle he didn't want So he has opened up a mechanics garage in the town and across from him is a bookstore run by Chloe She is a psychic who follows her emotions and reads tarot He is a man that only believes in what he can touch and he wants to touch her But can two such different people have a future You will have to read to see

I'm excited about this new series! I'm totally looking forward to Ford's book too since he was mentioned in this story. I liked this book because the storyline was interesting. Vick and Chloe were so adorable too. Nothing beats a book that makes me happy for reading it!
When Vick sees the new owner of the place across the street from his garage he knows she's quarky like him. He looks forward to seeing her come & go he just needs to work up to asking her out. Fate works quicker though when she needs help and reaches out to him. That's all the encouragement they both need to explore what fate has in store for them.
This was a hot quick read. Chloe and Vick work across the street from each other in Wild Country. Chloe is special in her own way. I love her care free attitude. Vick is a hot sexy mechanic. He screams sexy. A flat tire and thunderstorm brings them to cross paths. Is it fate or coincidence?
The story line and character work were good. The book book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a great series starter and kept me entertained from beginning to end.

Vick isn’t looking for love it, fate has something in store for him. That something happens to be named Chloe. Chloe is drawn to Vick and she follows her instincts. Vick and Chloe are too cute together.
I love quirky and Chloe sure fits the bill, I liked her. Vick was just the person she needed. The descriptions of the town, both of their shops, his home and her van..you could picture them in your mind. Can't wait to see what's going to happen with Ford :)
Second book I’ve tried from this author and I just can’t get behind the writing. The girl protagonist is just so “oh I’m not like other girls” and it honestly irks me. I tried to give it a shot but I just DNF-ed it 20% in.
Curvy Chloe is a bit quirky but accepts herself so when she meets sexy mechanic Vick she is ready for whatever fate has in store for her.in this sweet and steamy tale.
Action packed, sexy, fun, engaging and emotional adventure filled with danger, suspense and undeniable passion... an edge of your seat read from beginning to end and so hard to put down. Really enjoyed the charters I got to know on this journey.
