Roman is a widower at early 20 and even now, over 10 years later he misses his wife. His best friend, Morgan, forced him to participate in life again, they built a company together, but never had they crossed the line from friends to more. - Until one fateful night, which led to Morgan being pregnant.
Embracing fatherhood Roman is taking care of Morgan in any way he can and finds that he likes it.
A slow love story, two people realising little by little how much they care for one another.
A lovely romantic story, with comical elements. Enjoyable and entertaining.

This is book two of The Constantine Brothers series and follows the main character Roman after he loses the love of his life Claire and closes himself off from love. He is successful in his own architectural firm with his partner Morgan, who joined the firm he worked for as an intern and has earned her place beside him in their own company, bringing in a lot of new clients. Morgan was vibrant, hardworking and had great friends, but her love life was a disaster. Her latest ex has just announced he was getting married, after she spent three years on improving his outlook and career, making him more successful, but left her unhappy and alone. She always goes for losers somehow. She works too hard and that has caused most of her past relationships to fail.

She has always liked Roman, but she knows about his past love and the fact he isn’t the marrying type, but she is the only one that seems to be able to make him smile. Feeling sexual frustrated one night, whilst working late together, leads them to have an evening of passion, which leads to them having a baby together! As the pregnancy develops, they have gone back to their normal behaviour and almost ignoring what had happened. But Roman makes it clear once he learns of the pregnancy that he will step up to his responsibilities and look after her and the baby, no matter what. Add in her parents who are always questioning when she will get married and give them grandkids, having high expectations of their only child.

Morgan invites him to meet her parents before they go off on holiday again, so she can break the news, when he suddenly tells them they are engaged! A white lie he told on the spur of the moment, to try and take some of the pressure off Morgan, from her parents, but which left her mother now asking when the wedding date was! Roman moves Morgan into his flat, so he can help to look after her while she is pregnant and matters eventually draw them closer as Roman begins to realise how much Morgan has changed his outlook on life and loving again. Again, there are graphic sex scenes which some may not wish to read, so be warned. There are also a lot of grammar errors that make parts of the story difficult to understand, so I have marked it down slightly. But it is a nice romance story of two characters who are well suited to each other and one just needs to show the other that there can still be love after your heart is broken. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

I would give this 41/2 Stars so I give it a 5 with a hope for more to the story.
I will start by saying I always enjoy reading a Jen A. Durand book/story. I really enjoyed reading Roman. I enjoyed it so much so that I went over to Amazon to see if their was a book before this and their was a story called Wolfe. I did purchase this book and have a Part One and it was Wolfe's twin brother Roman.
This is the story of Roman Constantine, who is an successful Architect who at a young age witnesses unspeakable violence when he and his brothers witnessed his father kill his mother. Evidently he blamed on drinking, no matter the reason he messed with their childhood. He was a child that went from one foster home to the next, because he felt like he was going to be like his father. Roman has 3 brothers one of them his identical twin named Wolfe. The he had two younger brothers, Liam is a doctor and Aiden who is a farmer. We come to find out that his brother Wolfe got hit in the back of the head and lost some of time in his life with his wife Nissa and the only reason they had reunited was because he showed up in her hospital with her attending to him. So Nissa and Wolfe are married, Wolfe is still not sure what happened to him.
Morgan Wright is an only child of Hatian parents. They moved to America when she was small. She had a so called normal childhood. She is a loving, independent woman with a thriving business, in fact she is has a partnership with her best friend Roman Constantine, they have most sought after architecture firm in the cities. One night of passion finds Morgan and Roman expecting a child together. Read this story to find out what they decide to do. Does having a child together mean that they can no longer be best friends? How does Roman feel about becoming a father? What does having this child do to the family dynamics of Morgan's family and the dynamics of Roman Constantine and his brothers? This is a good story and I would hope to have another story of the wedding and maybe the other two Constantine brothers story and what becomes of Sergio Constantine the dad.

This is the story of Roman and Morgan. They are best friends and are co-workers and co-owners of the architecture company. She began to work with him when she was lost his wife Claire, he was mourning and push away everybody. But Morgan managed to move through all the walls and won his trust and friendship. During that process she fall in love with him knowing that a relationship between them will always impossible because he still in love with Claire. For him, Morgan was his only friend, his happiness, his light. Many times he had to remind himself she was off limits. One night they were working together and she asked him is she was beautiful. The question lead to a kiss, and a kiss to a lot of passion, no stop, and they ended sleeping together. From that unplanned night, Morgan got pregnant and all their lives turned upside down. A mother and a friend that one a wedding, two friends that magically turned in an engaged couple without proposing and no ring, everybody seen the love between them except Morgan and Roman. This story is very nice, excellent plot and characters. I loved the strength of Morgan and how during the process, they accept their feeling to each other. Highly recommended.

Ms. Durand is truly a gifted author and does an excellent job of writing emotional stories that pull at your heartstrings. This book is just that. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and once I started, I couldn't stop. This is the second book in the Constantine Brothers series which focuses on Roman. Roman is a widower and he misses his deceased wife terribly. He has an unexpected night together with his friend and business partner, Morgan, which results in a pregnancy. Roman needs to really examine his feelings for Morgan and decide where they go from there. The storyline and plot were very well-written and flowed very nicely. The characters were endearing and lovable with realistic and relatable qualities. This was a wonderfully written book and I truly enjoyed it.

This is book two in The Constantine Brother's Series and it is Roman and Morgan's story and I really enjoyed reading it. Roman has lost the love of his life and vows never to fall in love again but what he didn't see coming was his feelings for Morgan who worked with him. Morgan had a great life except for always choosing the wrong men and even though she had feelings for Roman she knew nothing would ever happen as his heart still belongs to someone else but when they spend one explosive night together everything will change but will it be for the better. I loved this book so much as it was well written and I couldn't put it down and I definitely look forward to reading more of Jen A Durand's books in the future.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Morgan and Roman are friends and run a business together. These two have a hard time seeing what is right in front of them. He vowed to never love again after being widowed. She is tired of the wrong men she keeps choosing. One night these two finally act on the feelings they have buried. This leads to an unplanned pregnancy and eyes being opened wide finally. Morgan is not surprised that Roman is a stand up guy, but is still surprised at his reaction. Roman finally is going to follow his heart. The baby makes both of them be honest with themselves and each other. Once they get past the hurdles, they can start the rest of their lives together as a family.

Roman Constantine lost his wife and could not bear to love another. When he and his friend, Morgan Wright, built their architectural business into a successful company, they had still not made any moves on the other. But one night they got carried away and Morgan ended up pregnant. Would Roman be happy to be a father? Would this be his wake-up call to rejoin the living and find love and happiness again with his own family? Or would he walk away from the responsibility, unable to open his heart again?

This was a good story that moved the characters slowly into the relationship. Roman had given up on wanting to risk his heart again. Morgan had made the difference. Would he accept his new role as a father? Would he realize that she did care about him, even if she wouldn’t pressure him into the decision? Grab your copy and find out if they can sort all of this out and get a HEA.

Loved the story of Roman and Morgan. They have worked together for years and built a successful business and a strong friendship. Morgan is quite a bit younger but was mature for her age and had a loving stable childhood. Roman had a tragic childhood and suffered a devastating loss when his young wife and childhood sweetheart died. He fears losing anyone else so refuses to let anyone get close. However, an unexpected pregnancy forces him to confront how he really feels. A beautiful story. Lovely to revisit Nissa and Wolfe and get to know Liam and Aiden better. Looking forward to the next book.

Roman is the second book in Jen A. Durand’s Constantine Brothers which sees a widower still pining for his lost love, forced by a well-meaning friend to start living again and look to the future. Reluctant to let go of the past, Roman is unprepared for a moment of spontaneous passion to impact the rest of their lives, and the lives of others. This is a wonderful story of second chances that has fun, laughter, emotional highs and lows, and two exceptional people who deserve a life filled with happiness. I thoroughly enjoyed Roman’s story and will definitely be reading more of Ms Durand’s work.

Roman and Wolfe are twins. Roman has built a sought after architecture firm with his friend Morgan and one night of passion alters their lives. Roman still grieves the loss of his wife, and Morgan dates the wrong men. Then Morgan ends up pregnant and he pretends to be engaged to Morgan for her parents. I really enjoyed this story, I liked Wolfe and his story just a tad bit more. These characters are wonderful I really liked each of them they are warm and caring and deserving of happiness. The story flowed really well and it kept me engaged with the story and characters through out the story.

This is Book 2 in the Constantine Brothers Series by this author. It is a heartwarming best friends to lovers romance between Roman and Morgan. These flawed characters are likeable, the connection strong, the chemistry hot, and the unique plot makes for an enjoyable read. It is a sweet love story with enough drama, humor, frustrating moments, sweetness, family dynamic, some twists and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A page turner with a happy ending. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other book in the series.

Roman is the second book in the Constantine Brothers which focuses on Roman Constantine, widower who deeply misses his deceased wife, and Morgan Wright, his best friend and business partner. Together they have built up a highly successful architecture firm. When a pregnancy occurs due to an unexpected night together, Roman and Morgan must make some major decisions about their lives. I highly recommend this enjoyable but strongly emotional book with a second chance at love.

Good story line with the business partners and friends to become lovers and have an unexpected bundle of joy and they have to make some changes to their lives before they can have their HEA. The author did an amazing job highlighting and describing the emotions and feelings between Morgan and Roman and their growing attraction to each other. The supporting characters and relationships between them were realistic and well done. I enjoyed the book much more than the first book and would recommend this one.

This was a nice addition to this new series and I’m quite enjoying Jens stories. Morgan and Roman have such a nice fluffy relationship once it begins that it warms my heart. I can understand his hesitancy to pursue a relationship with her as he is a bit older, but they make such a cute couple. Overall, the storyline was written very smoothly and the characters were charming. I look forward to the next book in this series!

This book is about Morgan and Roman, their lives, their friendship and where they go from there in the future.
