The Apprentice of Edinburgh is about Dorian, an Apprentice of the Antiques Guild of Edinburgh, Scotland, and how he manages to keep his young cousin Sammy out of trouble. Everyone knows if you’re familiar you need your anchor to stay away from the thin places that can pull you into other universes of time and space. Anchors are best left in museums, unless you’re a Guild member. But what happens if you get stuck in Victorian Edinburgh, chased by Bodysnatchers? Or in medieval Edinburgh and catch the plague?
