Train Wreck #2

Ridden Hard

Rate this book
But a lot happened in between.

With five of us in the band, five love stories wove and twined around each other.

No fairy tales. Not much happily ever after either, because life got in the way.

Most of the time, happy for now was as good as it got.

I’m Cole Davies. And for me, it was always Milly. As bloody difficult as she can be sometimes.
I work in her father’s stables.

She’s a top rider.

She seems as attracted to me as I am to her.

But Milly is way out of my league.

And with a father determined to drink himself to death and more unemployed than working, I need this job.

So, life would be a lot easier if my boss’s daughter was a bitch, or ugly, or anything but perfect.

Am I willing to risk my job for her?

Then tragedy strikes – on the way home from an event there’s a fatal accident.

Does Milly blame me for what has happened?.

Ridden Hard is the second book in the Train Wreck not so sweet, small town, coming of age series.

Their life is a Train wreck are you ready for the ride?

Now that I knew the author's style and that these stories truly are a Train wreck, I was able to enjoy the book more. This is not your fairy tale everything will be all right book. This is the life throws many curve balls at you and it is what it is. You don't always get what you want when you want. My only hope is that in the next books it's not the girls who mess up and start to fracture the relationships. First book, the girl was messy and unkempt etc. This book she's selfish, pretty much thinks about her needs and wants, not his. I'm hoping this pattern doesn't repeat in the next book. Great writing.
