First off the fact that this is set in Puerto Rico won me over instantly. My heart is there and there is not enough love for that island. Second this is a stormy, steamy and dark-ish read that I could not put down. I loved the way the author blended the MC with the action and romance and created such unique and interesting characters. I also have a favorite in the MC world and that is the Sargent in Arms/Enforcer and Azriel was just the man I love for this role. Along with his love Carina, this was a very enjoyable story. I do hope to read more from this MC club in the future. 4.25 stars.

Az is saa in of rbmc .Carina is on the run .She comes to the clib begging for protection. He must keep her safe, he wants her.Can he save her ? but then he is ordered by his prez to dispose of her.Can he kill her?can she prove her innocence? Their relationship is hot, steamy and full of drama. Brilliant from start to finish.

The Royal Bastards have arrived and Puerto Rico will NEVER be the same! When Rae B Lake does it, she does it BIG! Death and Paradise is a PHENOMENAL read. Azriel is the Sgt. At Arms with the Bastards and he acquires a headache in the form of Carina who's running from a local gang. She's as full of secrets as this book is full of so many twists and turns and they all come together in one epic story.
This is another great win in the Royal Bastard series!

Holy cow I loved Azriel and Carina's story. AZ is the SAA of the RBMC and protects his club at any cost. Carina is in the run as seeks sanctuary with the RBMC. Carina is a strong women with a fire inside her that drawn Azriel in like a month to the flame. When things heat up between these two holy smokes is it hot. This book is action packed and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see more the RBMC Ponco, PR in the future.

This was a good addition to the Royal Bastards, but kind of hard to get into. There's plenty of danger and the usual club stuff, but the spanish speaking part of the book was throwing me off. Not every phrase was related back in english. I like the story line though. HEA.

What a story! The chemistry between Azriel and Carina was hot!

I don’t know if it’s because I know she hasn’t been tainted by anyone here or because she’s still somewhat of an enigma to me, but my body demands I take her. I’m not one to ignore my needs.”

This book is on the darker side. It has murder, thrill, anguish, and heartbreak.
A fantastic read and a great addition to the Royal Bastards MC.

Death & Paradise (RBMC) by @raeb.lake is the newest addition to the RBMC family. Trust me this is not her first foray into MC, if you haven’t read her Wings of Diablo MC you need to read it ASAP!
This book was everything I expected from Rae. Strong alpha male, feisty heroine and of course lots of action. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the guys in the club. Fantastic start to her new series ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Azriel sees Cariña and is smitten. He then is hit with her plea for protection. Cariña is running for her life from Az's MC enemy.
This story is fast paced and full of action. I love that it takes place in Ponce, PR where my family is from. The only things I will mention is the use of some Spanish terms; i.e., Entiendes should be entiendo,
Cabrons should be cabrones, and

What an thrilling, exciting adventure you will be taken on as you follow RBMC Puerto Rico Chapter. Death & Paradise by Rae B. Lake is a fast paced story about sexy AZ who is Sgt. At Arms for the RBMC Puerto Rico Chapter. This is one hell of a ride that is thrilling, suspenseful as the men of the RBMC are tough gritty men who live by a ride or die motto as they play hard and love hard as their club and patch mean everything to them. We even get a little bit about Wire of the Wings of Diablo MC getting his revenge on the twins who have been hiding at the RBMC PR Chapter and forming a bond with Vado and the RBMC.
AZ is loyal to his club and brothers until he meets Carina who is seeking sanctuary from the club as she is running from a gang who is after her. AZ is told that Carina will be under his watch and to find out if she can be trusted and what she is hiding. Carina is a sassy, beautiful woman who is drawn to AZ but she is a tough determined woman who butts heads with this violent, sexy biker. AZ is this lusty, rugged, hard ass biker who kills without remorse for his club and is drawn to sexy Carina. The more time he is with Carina, they begin a hot, steamy encounter heading towards a collision course as Carina has gotten under AZ's skin like no other woman has before. When they learn that she is connected to Basilio Ramirez, Pres of the Manos de Terror MC Vado tells AZ to kill her as he was the one that killed his brother Neno. The RB of Puerto Rico has already appeared briefly in Mammoth’s book and his visit was also reflected in this book, only less detailed.
The MCs in this book are Az, the SSA of the club and Cariña, the woman who comes to them for protection. Another MC is trying to kill her and she pays the RB a large sum to keep her hidden and safe.
As begins a torrid relationship with her until he finds out her true identity. She is the wife and the aunt of the gang leaders responsible for the death of his Prez’s little brother. Vado, his Prez, orders Az to kill Cariña and he finds himself between a rock and a hard place: kill the woman who occupies all his thoughts and own his body or disobey a direct order of his Prez, which would be his death.
An action packed and very sexy story.
She chuckles and pulls my head down to hers so that her mouth is by my ear. My cock gets hard as she whispers.“Hmm, I see the company you keep. They’re paid to lie to you. You fuck escorts and biker sluts and have the nerve to think you have something that can please me. I’m through faking AZ." She leans back slightly, “By the way, if we’re going to fuck, it’ll be me who does the taking.” She moves her face and kisses me directly on my mouth, locking my lips with her. Stick a pike up her ass, do it while she's alive if you want. Leave her there like a statue. I want to see her lifeless body every time I ride by. If you don’t, kiss your fucking patch and your life goodbye.”
“Cariña, there is nothing you can say,” I repeat, but my tone betrays how I feel. It’s soft and full of remorse. Cariña has only been around for a short time, but in these few weeks, I have become closer to her than pretty much anyone outside of my brothers. The sex is unbelievable, she’s exciting, and she doesn’t take shit. I know in my fucking soul she isn’t trying to pull one over on us, but I can’t go against my orders.

Okay, first off I freaking love this book. Also this is the first book I have read from this author and I am a fan. Secondly, I love that you have the spanish language incorporated in your writing. Even, though I am hispanic, (not fluent at all which I blame my mother for, lol) I had to google translate some words. LOL, it was totally worth it. Anyways, we have action, betrayals, steamy scenes, fighting, and hope. Carina aka Rosie, has managed to make her way to the RBMC Ponce Chapter. Now the Ponce Chapter offers sanctuary to her, however she doesn't reveal all of her situation. Azriel is the enforcer and he is one tough man. He likes his life the way it is and he is not looking for anything more. Then he meets Carina. Well, everything happens when you least expect it. I was not expecting a few things to happen and was shocked. I loved how I was kept guessing as to what will happen. We do get a happily ever after. I am so ready for more of this series.

Intense storyline with lots of thrilling suspenseful action. The author gave us a well written book with characters the reader could get behind and root for. Tough, hardcore alphas who have to make tough decisions to keep their brotherhood safe. Especially AZ. He has always been true to his Prez and the RB MC. He takes his position as the club’s Sgt. in Arms seriously. But when he vouches for a woman seeking the club's protection, his Prez and him bump heads. Will he follow orders or will he end the woman’s life.
Very good addition to the RS MC series and this reader is looking forward to more from the Puerto Rico chapter. If I had one suggestion for the author it would be, while I super appreciate the glossary of Spanish terms (or I’d have been lost a time or two), it’s a pain to keep flipping to see what the phrases mean. Perhaps putting the meanings in italics behind the phrases would be easier on the reader. But the flipping to the glossary did not take away from the story. I highly suggest grabbing it up. You won’t regret it. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.

Cariña, married an older wealthy man who treated her well until he didn't. Years of abuse ends when he was murdered by a rival. However, the rival, her husbands nephew, wants the information her husband had against him and will do anything to get it.
Cariña runs to the local Royal Bastards for help, but she lies about who she is and who her late husband was.
Azriel is the Enforcer for the RBMC but he's attracted to Cariña. He has no problem having sexy time with her but isn't interested in a relationship.
Once it's revealed who Cariña is, the RB President orders her killed. Azriel has no choice but Cariña bargains for a chance to live by offering information about who/how the President's brother was killed.
Drama with another MC, more sexy time. HEA

This book is part of the Royal Bastards MC collection. This book is for the Puerto Rico chapter. Azriel is the Sergeant in arms for this chapter. He does what needs to be. When they need someone to disappear or to make a statement, he does it. While at a party he finds Carina. He can tell that someone is looking for her. She is on the run but from what and why? There is just something about Carina that calls to Azriel. Will he be able to trust her once they learn the truth about who she is? Carina is on the run but she has reason to be. She hasn’t had it easy and is put in a horrible position she no control over. She doesn’t trust the club enough to tell them everything. But eventually she will have no choice. But will the knowledge she has be enough to save her life. This book is action packed. I love this collection. Each book in the series sucks me in. I can’t wait to read the next book in the collection. Hopefully there will be another book for this chapter. I love how all the books tie into each other. Wonderful job Rae.

Cariña Velez came to the Royal Bastards compound because she was being hunted by a rival gang. She may be on the run but she's not going to let anyone push her around.
While I thought this was a pretty good MC book, I never really felt a connection between these two characters. Their sex was hot and steamy but there was very little emotional connection for me.
A gritty, criminal MC story, with a little kink on the side. Hot sex, death and mayhem.
Extra bonus there's a great translation section translating the Spanish words used in the book.

Azriel is the Sergeant-at-Arms for his MC, and he vouches for Carina when she arrives seeking protection. Az and his Prez butt heads as when they find out who she is, the Prez orders Az to get rid of her permanently. Carina knows secrets about a rival MC, and she gains the clubs support when she reveals them. The chemistry between Az and Carina is combustible and undeniable, and they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written action-packed story, which is dark, raw, gritty, and intriguing, with secrets, twists, suspense, danger, loyalty, emotions, family, and love, which all leads to an unpredictable and entertaining riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is Azriel and Carona’s story. Carona comes to the RBMC for protection from the club’s rival gang, the Canos and ends up helping them with this little problem. A good story but I had trouble understanding a lot of it. Before the began the author gave us basically a dictionary of terms used in the book and what it meant. Problem was it wasn't like you could flip back and forth each time you needed to know what was said. Maybe if I would have printed out the words I could have enjoyed it more.
I did understand what it was about so I will say the story was gonna... I loved how Azriel was his own person and decided to go with his gut and girl. Loved how Carina stood up for herself against the President and called him on his BS and was able to figure out what he had against her.

Death & Paradise is book 1 in Royal Bastards MC: Ponce, PR written by the talented author Rae B. Lake and part of the the Royal Bastards MC collection. I just love how this story was written, I'm a Boricua after all. Azriel aka "AZ' is the Sergeant of Arms for the Ponce chapter of the RBMC. Cariña Velez aka Rosie Ramirez' is a victim on the run that was put in a horrible position when she was a beautiful young lady by her parents. She's running for her life and ask AZ for help from the bastardos. This plot is full of drama, secrets, danger, banter, vengeance, music, parties, hot bikers, sex and lots of action.

Really enjoyed this story, there where phrases in Spanish I didn't know, but they did not take away from the story.
Carina is a strong women who has survived horrible things and wants retribution.
This is her story, if you want adventure, near death experiences, then pick it up and go along for the ride.
RBMC is there to help, AZ is SAS and will take care of his club, he takes out the "TRASH" and disposes of it so it does not come back on the club.

Carinas on the run and seeks protection from the RBMC Puerto Rico, where she meets Azriel and sparks immediately fly between them, but when her secrets unravel and the MC is put at risk its Azriel whose tasked with taking out the threat. Will their love be stronger to over come what lies ahead. A well written action packed read with, desire, suspense, twists and turns you don't see coming. A great addition to the RBMC series

I love this, AZ is the Sgt. At Arms and Carinà literally runs into him running away from the Cano who want her dead, when she does not tell the MC who she is it gets her into trouble with Vado, the Prez and he orders AZ to kill her, thing is he has fell for her, but orders are orders, unless the information she has can help. I also liked the mention of the Wings of Diablo MC, which is another great series of books.

This is a great chapter to the RBMC series.
At and Carina have a. Rocky start, she. Needs protection and is willing to pay for it from her. Family and their enAz is. The go to man for problem solving for the club.. Carina and him have an instant attraction to each other and they do try to fight it. When it comes to light exactly who Carina is and who her family is, she is sentenced to death by the clubs president. She turns it around by turning her family in to the club. This puts her in the good graces of the club and the president.
This means that her and Az can be together.

I don’t even know where to start. Azriel and Carina’s story literally hits the ground running. She crashes unexpectedly into his life and turns the RBMC upside down. This dark and twisted tale is filled with secrets, lies, and vengeance. Carina is a spitfire and she gets under Azriel’s skin. We can’t help who we fall in love with and sometimes we’re forced to make decisions that could have killer consequences. I enjoyed the character crossover action and I look forward to seeing what trouble is around the next bend.

I love MC stories! This was fantastic, there is all the usual MC elements murder, intrigue, steamy scenes, it has it all. This is the story of Carina who needs protection and she has secrets from another MC club so the Royal Bastards take her in and Azriel is to protect her. He is to protect her but he wants her also. This is a great story that is well written and totally keeps you on the edge of your seat. What wild ride.

This is a fantastic addition to the RBMC. I was pulled in from the very first chapter! The characters and their story had me glued to my kindle. I read this book in one sitting. I did not want to put it down. The action, danger, secrets, angst, heartbreak, desire and more kept me on edge! I wanted to know what was going to happen to them, the club! The chemistry between Azriel and Carina was blistering hot! These two can set your kindle on fire! This is a highly recommended read! Love! Love! Love it!

This action pack MC drama has a tropical back drop that makes this story even more appealing. When Azriel encounters Carina for the first time, it ignites a fire that can't be distinguished only to find out that she is seeking protection from AZ's MC enemy. As their fires of passion ignites the webs of lies are beginning to unfold and Carina must face her deception. Will she live one Azriel's MC learns about her lies and get a happily ever after wit Azriel?

While this was a great addition to the RBMC world, it would be nice if there were interpretations for all the words spoken in Spanish for those that do not have any knowledge of the language. While the Spanish was expected due to the location being in Puerto Rico, it should not be assumed that every reader will have the capability of reading and interpreting things correctly.
