This a book about a subject that most people would rather ignore, service men and women, coming back from active duty with PTSD. They are being to “man up” and live with it. Some do some are so messed up that they will do anything to cope with it and make it stop. In this story Dylan is just back from active duty, but no-one took the time to help him become acclimated to civilian life. Leah, has been used and abused by the system, and is now living in her car, under the underpass. She makes ends meet by singing in the bar. Dylan hears her sing one night and her singing soothes his demons so he can function and sleep. With Dylan ,Leah feels safe and protected. They help each other and fall in love. They each enjoy the life they have and live it to the fullest.
Another insta-love. This one PTSD. Doesn't dive deep into PTSD. Just the insta -love, drug use twice and year down the road. Rex must be the new snake dirtbage. The shorts are not even pretending to over lap. They are just short insta -love read around the the same playing at MC.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Savage Saints MC series. In this book, Dylan returns home from serving in the military and decides to go to the MC where his former squad Lord and Ace are. Dylan's sister Red is also involved with Ryder. Dylan has nightmares about the war and suffers from insomnia. Dylan has been using drugs and alcohol to try to sleep. When Dylan goes to a bar with another member of the MC, he hears a woman singing and she soothes him so much, he falls asleep. Dylan knows she is the answer he was looking for, but she is homeless and he can't find her. Dylan tells the others about her and they set out to find her for him. i really liked this book. I felt so bad for Dylan with everything he has been through. I think he found his happiness. Another good one.
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Dylan is book five in the savage saints MC series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Having just gotten out of the military, Dylan is suffering from bad nightmares. When he starts to go down a bad path it is Leah’s singing that helps him. The chemistry between Dylan and Leah is clear to see and I liked them together. I just wish that there were more scenes of them officially together. I liked that Leah finally had a place to call home and Dylan had the peace he needed. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Love, love, love it! “Dylan” is a tale of two broken souls who find peace with each other. Dylan comes to the Saints straight from leaving the military after a bad experience that leaves him with nightmares. Leah is a singer loving under the bridge after a bad experience at another MC. They meet at the biker bar and Leah’s singing calms his restless soul. This is an emotional and intense tale that is fast-paced, filled with drama, suspense, some action, and a lot of love. I highly recommend this addition to the Savage Saints MC. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily
Dylan is fresh out of the military and suffers from PTSD and survivors guilt. He has made his way to the Savage Saints MC Club where his sister Red lives, and some of his former military buddies. He keeps reliving his last days in the military and isn't coping well. He goes to Throttle the local bar and hears this angel Leah, singing. Leah also has issues being homeless for one and things that happened to her growing up. Her singing seems to sooth Dylan and helps him deal with his demons, allowing him to sleep and function. Leah is finally feeling safe. This is a raw look at a person suffering from PTSD and that so many suffer from.
This is a wonderful story that draws you in and makes you realise just what returning vets go through. Dylan is straight from the military and into the MC where his sister is an old lady to one of the members He is deeply traumatised by his last mission when a fellow member offers drugs will this be the way he copes or will a chance meeting with Lana who is living under a local bridge after escaping another MC be the one to soothe his soul. Can these two damaged people be the salvation of one another You will have to read to see
I have to say that IMO, is the best book in this series. The emotions of Dylan and Leah that flow from the pages are sometimes gut wrenching. Their stories are so real and unfortunately happening more and more. Dylan and Leah found what they were both looking for but didn't know it with each other
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
She had past trouble with another MC which has her living under a bridge and sings in a bar. He is back from the military with nightmares. Her singing helps put the broken pieces of him back together and he helps her heal too. In the meantime a strong love between them develops. It is exciting, emotional, intriguing and much more. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Dylan is feeling guilty and lost. PTSD is keeping Dylan from truly living or sleeping. His first choice leads from the frying pan into the fire; drugs are never the answer. Surprisingly, his answer cones in finding solace in homeless singer, Leah. Their stories are touching as is their HEA. Loved them!!👍😻

Book 5 and the story is about Dylan and Leah. Dylan meets Leah at a club she is the club singer and her voice is just so calming. She has the voice of an angel, and Dylan feels so safe around her. Will Leah fit into the club, and will Dylan finally be able to put his deamons to rest. Highly recommend
This is book 5 in the savage saints MC series. This is a well written story of a veteran with PTSD and the woman who loves him. Great story. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
Wow Dylan’s story was full of triggers but it was super sweet and full of redemption.. Leah was a sweetie, very loving and understanding. The ending gave me the feels…
This story was sweet, romantic and kind of sad as well. Dylan list his way and had to deal with nightmares from his time in the military. Leah's soothing voice finally helped him to sleep. He fell in love with her voice first but with the rest really fast as well 😉. Two people with their own problems found their HEA. A sweet and romantic short story. Can't wait for the next story in this series.
I received this book as a part of the ARC team and I am leaving my review willingly.
ARC review It's a good read. The characters are likeable and the story line is interesting. It is intriguing to read about the different things that help ex army men to deal with their PTSD. The things, situations or people that calms them.
This was a quick read - Dylan and Leah found each other in a dirty bar, she was the singer and he a ‘wannabe’ MC member, they both needed what they didn’t know they had to offer. He had PTSD and she had a crappy childhood; they saved each other.
