i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the For Sake of Love series. Abraham is a ruthless businessman who takes over struggling companies. When Simone learns her brother is losing his company and her parents are going to lose their home, she decides to get revenge on Abraham. Abraham is known to hire a woman to one of his homes around the world for a week every year and Simone manages to make sure he picks her. Simone is going to get information for her brother to use to save his business. Simone doesn't expect Abraham to treat her with any respect and Abraham is shocked to find he cares about Simone. Simone finds Abraham attractive, even if she doesn't like him. When Abraham starts to treat Simone like he cares about her, she starts to see another side to him and starts to find she is starting to care for him also. Only Simone must now decide if she can get the evidence she needs to ruin Abraham. I liked this book. I think Abraham never thought about the lives he ruined through his business. Simone didn't want to care about Abraham, but he open up to her and she saw he was not as bad as she thought. Good one.

This is the first time I have read this author book and I really enjoyed it.
Cassandra aka (Cassie) was a spoiled young lady who moved in with her Hollywood director uncle.while living there she see a guy on one of the sets sitting Chris Bennett he didn’t pay her any attention so Cassie decided to get her own back.
A few years later Cassie is in a bar with her friend Tammy because she caught her boyfriend cheating so they decided to get drunk.
She see Chris sitting in a corner at the bar and wanted him they hook up and she leaves him alone in bed.
Chris now is now a billionaire and CEO of his own company but is shocked when he see that Cassie works for him.
I also love how you read what happened to Cassie and Chris before they ended up working together.
It’s a well written short story and loveable characters and I can’t wait to read other books by this author.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the For the Sake of Love series. In this book, Cassie is a reformed party girl that grew up in Hollywood. One day while she was visiting her famous uncle on his movie set, she met Mark and he blew her off, causing Cassie to take revenge. A few years later, Cassie has grown up and settled down. Her friends ask her to go out with them and she meets a man at a bar. They have a connection and he takes her home, but she is gone in the morning. Cassie is starting a new job and when her boss asks to meet her, she is surprised to see it is the man from the bar, and he is Mark, the man she met years ago in Hollywood. Mark blamed Cassie for ruining his acting career and he wants to make her pay, but he is also attracted to her and doesn't believe she changed. I liked this book, i think Cassie grew up a lot. Mark seemed like a bit of a jerk at first and he didn't want to accept Cassie's apology. I think Mark wanted revenge himself. Good one.

Cute short story. After a disastrous first encounter Cassie and Mark meet again. After time they realize that people really can change and sometimes deserve a second chance. The story was shot and sweet but I was hoping for a little bit more story before their HEA. Overall it was a nice quick read.
