Being a child of the 1950s, back in my high school days, any time I had to read an entire book for my English class, I usually frowned each time in doing it. One of these books had been The Tale of Two Cities, and of bothering to read it, I went to a large local bookstore and bought a CliffNotes® copy of the book instead. CliffNotes® which is still around today gets written by actual teachers and professors who know their way around a book, not only did this summarized guide to the book helped me get passed all the assignments and got me B+ for this portion of the class.

A great deal of Americans suffer from a scourge that impacts their lives and health; it’s called DIABETES. The solution to combatting this medical condition is INSULIN. However, sometimes their condition can develop a resistance to the drug.

This book by the publisher, Book Tigers, provides a simplified chapter by chapter essence of what each one contains. The full-length book by authors, Cyrus Khambatta and Robby Barbaro contains almost 400 pages and costs $16.99 [Hardcover] and $13.99 [KINDLE] while this book only costs $6.99 [Paperback] and $.99 [KINDLE or for free as a KU].

The mastering of diabetes of all types, according to the book’s authors, is based on the food diet we consume every day of our lives. Their revolutionary solution is to eat a low-fat plant-based whole-food diet, and they provide a strategy to combat insulin resistance for diabetic individuals and, at the same time increasing their life expectancy and expanding their general health.

This summary book lacks the 30+ recipes the full book contains, yet provides its readers with the essential information they might desire to acquire about their condition. The book also provides a sort of trying it before you buy it attitude for its readers to consider whether or not they should purchase the book to own.

For having provided its readers with the above information, I’ve given this book 5 STARS.

Good Summation

This book summarized the main book so well that I wanted to know more about saturated fats and insulin resistance. I bought the main book and it has been a great nutrition and diet addition to my library.
