Over Time was something and it was so real too. This is about Natasha having feeling for Arielle, but Arielle seems take Natasha for granted and she seems like she doesn't care. Arielle belives she can have her ass kissed by Natasha and Natasha will always be there.
Natasha is pretty much over being treated like trash and wants more from a friendship and relationship. I'm kinda salty with how Natasha handles situations. She hurt Grey to once again be with Arielle. It's like it's a game no one knows what they want.
Moon Bey doesn't disappoints I enjoy her writing and she has become a favorite of mines. Great story.
I was in a FB group and the author asked if anyone had time to read a quickie. I figured 30 pages, yeah, I could do it. It's not my genre and I was uncomfortable with the subject matter. It's not what I expected. With that being said, the writing followed a natural progression. Nat had to explore her true feelings, own who she was, make peace within, and try to move forward. Her mom was a jewel in accepting her. The end was a complete hot mess.
I cannot believe Natasha. I'm side eyeing her and her decisions. Ari clearly don't want her and she keeps overextending herself. I was glad that Natasha finally stood up for herself and found someone who was genuinely interested in her. But here Natasha goes mucking it up 🤦🏾♀️. All in this was good quick read.
This novelette was my first read from this author and it was so good. She was really descriptive and I was able to feel every emotions of the lead character and that ending I need more lol
Ok… let me start by saying I was not prepared or expecting this story! After finishing Making Time, I jumped right into this book and the storyline was immediately captivating.
Natasha and Arielle were a hot mess in my opinion although very entertaining. Finding out that Natasha is the nanny for the kids in book one was cool however her outlook on Tanessa and Syvad’s parenting had me giving them the side eye. I loved and pitied Natasha for a while then I wanted to slap some sense into her. The way Moon Bey told this story forced you to pick a side while still second guessing your choice lol!
I was honestly over this story when certain things took place because I can only understand foolish actions for so long. Arielle was not a likable character to me, the way she treated others was uncalled for. If an author can have me liking as well as disliking a character, then they are great in my eyes. Moon Bey gave a complex story of friends to lovers to friends (again) and if drama, jealousy, and chaos with an undercurrent of love is your thing then check this book out!
Although this wasn’t my favorite book in the series it was a good addition to the series and as always I can’t wait to see whose story is next!
Overtime was something I tell you. This was a hot and steamy girl on girl short story. I have my co-workers running to the bathroom for their 15 minutes break. Laughing my butt off. Don’t know why I pick to read this book out loud to them. Glad I did. They will be back in the afternoon for me to read the next book lol.
Okay, Natasha pissed me off at the end. The story is about two women that grow up with each other and they have feelings for each other. Arielle treats Natasha like shit. Natasha can’t seem to get over her. She finally gets what she was looking for and messed it up at the end. I’m salty with how Natasha handles the situation and the end. She hurt someone that cared about her.
Moon Bey good job again. I enjoy your writing and you are on my tops 5 Author list. Everyone else that was to read this book. Read it at home, doing it anywhere else will drive you crazy 😜🥵.
I woke up with this book on my mind, which should be good, right? honestly, this book was incredibly frustrating and reminded me how difficult it is to write a short. imagine reading a book, enjoying the buildup, rooting for a character just for them to make a decision that’s polar opposite of the growth they’ve shown. and once that absurd decision is made, a random reveal and then the book is done. no closure, just done. like wtf just happened.
Natasha's poor heart was so caught up in Arielle. Arielle was a user in my eyes and only acknowledge Natasha when she needed her. Natasha finally grew tired of the bs. Grey came into play and was the moth for Natasha. The only problem was Natasha was still stuck on Arielle even after all the bs. Poor Grey but the ending was crazy.
This quick paced book was written pretty good and flowed well, but I felt like there was something missing in the story. Wasn’t sure if everyone was bisexual, experimenting or confused. The ending was really confusing to me. I’m going to continue reading the series though.
This is the first book I have read that centers around a lesbian situationship/friends with benefits. The story has you hooked from jump, wondering if it will be happily ever after for both or a chance to move on to something better.
