Bear Arms

Rate this book
The Second Amendment gives American citizens the right to bear arms, saying that the individual citizen has a right to defend themselves, with firearms. The right to bear arms is not as simple as it might sound, however. When the founding fathers wrote the Second Amend, they did so in a way that protects the American citizens against their government. They did this because of the abuse of power the American colonist were under by the British government. So when the American people bear arms, it is for their personal protection as well as the protection of liberty under the Constitution of the United States.
