Not helping my cause is the fact that someone starts killing the other vampires on campus. And they're doing it with my grandmother's ring. A ring I was supposed to find but couldn't.
Accused of murder, I'll be on trial before a judge. If I can't prove that I've never touched the ring, I'll be sentenced to death.
I'm not sure if my succubus necklace can help me this time. There are too many mysteries at Ironwood, and everyone seems to be lying to me. I need Blaise to join my harem not only to fulfill my fantasies but also so that I can divine the secrets of vampires and manage to stop more of them from being murdered.
Will we be able to work together and save ourselves?

The cursed
I have to start by saying I knew who Thorn was. I have to read the last book, could her grandmother really be that evil. At every turn Ruby faces more this time death because of the curse. Not sure I could of forgiven Blaise that easily. That's when you can see the immaturity come through.

I was sent a copy of this in a box set in exchange for an honest review.
Part 4 of Ruby's trials at Ironwood see her accused of murdering two vampires. Surprisingly it's Headmaster Thorn who comes to her defense but can only do so much before she is forced by the Vampire Lord to be placed under lock and key. Blaise, her vampire/bat friend comes into his forte here and we learn some things through the necromancer necklace that blow Ruby's mind.
The series has been one long trial and huge learning curve for Ruby and the stories are told with such precision that make it hard to put the stories down. I'm not sure how many meals I've missed while reading this because I've been so engrossed, but it's been worth it.
Highly recommended read.

Well, lust pretty much took control of this episode. Nirvana for some readers, not so much for me. This storyline is actually really interesting. I just get put off a tad whenever I have to skip most pages. In defense of this author though, the mature content was fully disclosed prior to choosing to read this, therefore I can’t rate a book low over it. The authors skills as a writer is still obvious and it takes skill to incorporate mature scenes and maintain an interesting storyline at the same time. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Wow
This series just keeps getting better and better. I don’t know where to begin. So much action packed into this one. A great deal of information unpacked some of which proved my own suspicions correct. Ruby her guys her friends and the school itself are growing and developing knowledge, friendships and relationships continuously it’s great to see hopefully more to come.

Poor
Story line is weak. It's like this whole series was throw together with little thought. And a heads up this book just leaves more questions. 4th book not written\released . Don't think I will bother waiting to read next one . It was that bad.

Oh man. This one is crazy. Full of magic boxes and murders. I’m still unsure if Ruby is growing as a person in a beneficial or power hungry way. Only time will tell. She’s also added Jacob and Blaize to her troop
