One man has given her everything, another would make her his queen. When her loyalty is tested, will she give herself over to the Wild? Miranda Cannon is the executive assistant to one of the most powerful businessmen in the world. When his latest project has her investigating a suspicious accident in the woods of Rosethorn Valley, Miranda is shocked to learn that fairytale monsters are real, and one of them wants to destroy her. Which is almost as frightening as the fact that her knack with people has somehow become a powerful magic in its own right. Can she control her newfound power enough to use it for good? If not for the sudden appearance of the handsome and powerful King of the Wilds, she might not survive long enough to find out.
Bron has slept for centuries as the wilds around him suffered at the hands of mortals. Now the fae king is awake and ready to protect what is his, including the beautiful and powerful woman who wandered into his forest. If only Miranda can decide where her loyalties lie, he will make her his queen.
When a serious attack on Rosethorn Valley ensues, Miranda will have a choice to make. And the King of the Wilds will have to risk a broken heart to help Miranda embrace her wild side.
If you like strong women, hunky fae kings, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of Rosethorn Valley Fae!
Title: King of the Wilds Series: Rosethorn Valley Fae #3 Release Date: #AlreadyReleased Author: Tasha Black Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Serial: Standalone, No Cliffhanger Genre:#PRN #Fae #WarriorKing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ •••••••••••••• 💢. Fairytale Monsters are TRUE!! Absolutely mind-boggling. As I said in book #1- I’m a fae lover. Book #2 was Magnificent. But Lord Book #3 is PHENOMENAL!! Oh and Ladies and Gents get the tissue out! 🔹️ Miranda Cannon is an Executive Assistance to Cullen Ward a powerful businessman. When she runs into a fachan, he was one-eyed, hairy harbinger of hell. 🔹️ Bron is a StagShifter and the King of the Wilds and boy is he wild. By far the best for me as I could live with him growing everything beautiful. He came out of hibernation to help his brothers only to find his Queen, now he needs to get her and hold on to her. ☄️ This review is my own opinion, this author is one that I love to read her books.
What can I say without sounding like a broken record? :o lol ... Tasha Black delivers fresh, new, PNR stories every time!! ... “King of the Wilds” is the 3rd amazing, page-turner in her latest magical world of romance and fantasy, the ‘Rosethorn Valley Fae’ series! ...
Always relatable characters & clever dialogue, as well as this H/h- Bron & Miranda’s chemistry is off the charts! ... But, she’s confused as to what is happening between them and tries to pull away from Bron, tho she finds herself drawn back to him every time! ...
Even tho I always volunteer to read this author's books before publishing, it is without any outside influence, and as usual most of the time, I have already preordered my own Kindle book to keep forever :) So yes, I can honestly recommend this to all adult fans of fiction, and now I can’t wait for more! But I will as usual ;)
It's getting real. The couples have only 2 more mirror pieces to replace (by capturing the creatures who escaped when the mirror shattered. (right?) The problem is that in order to capture the last ones they need help from their brother...
Enter Bron and what an entrance. Miranda is lost in the forest with not one but two bad creatures after her. Thank you, hunky man.
While Miranda didn't make a great impression with the other brothers and their queens in book 2 (read it if you haven't it's great) They need Bron and he has feelings for her.
The changing relationships are fun and good to watch. The couple's relationship is sweet and touching, there are lots of action, mystery, surprises, and steam. I really love the series and the book. Each one seems better than the last.
This is a wonderful book, full of incredible surprises! The best part was the emotional growth of the characters. Ms. Black always does a fantastic job with her characters. You really feel what they're going through. Miranda is such a multifaceted character. But you would never have gotten her full development if you hadn't read King of Light first. Even there, you can see that she isn't what she appears to be. In contrast, Bron is in-your-face wonderful. He is as alive as the world he loves. Again, the ending is amazing, with the main characters from all three books working together to solve the final dilemma. It just makes you hungry to read the next book, King of Pain. This book was a fun, exciting adventure with clever twists you'll just love. I highly recommend you read King of Midnight and King of Light first to get the most out of it.
Sara, Dorian, Taitha, Tristan and Bron are all trying to save the manson on the cliffside. There is a developer trying to buy it and his assistant Miranda Cannon has come to tell them they stand no chance against her boss. Miranda is checking out an issue on a work site and looses track of time and is trying to find her way to her car in the dark when something big is headed her way. Bron is in the area and goes to her aide to stop the monster from killing her. There is a spark between them but Bron is reluctant to get involved with a mortal. The attacks by the escaped monsters is still happening and Miranda decides to help when her boss gives her a few days off. There is terror and grief as the story unfolds. I love this book, the characters are amazing and the story is original.
Miranda has already had the ability to convince people to see things her way. She got herself caught up in something she didn't really understand. Bron is another brother that has a special connection to the wild places. It is that connection that allows him to save Miranda. When he meets with his brothers he brings along Miranda. The brothers are not impressed, but Sara and Tabitha are better at hiding the distrust. They find that the six of the working together have the best chance of catching the final creatures in the mirror pieces. It's an emotional rollercoaster ride for Miranda. She finds her true voice and what she really wants in life.
Book 3 of the Rosethorn Valley Fae series. Rosethorn Valley, a place near Tarker's Hollow but with it's own magic and more (like monsters). This is a standalone book but would be so much more fun when read in order. A paranormal romance, intrigue, chemistry and myths. Strong men and even stronger women. Beloved characters which make this book rich in detail, warm with family and community, and just a page turning draw to discover how the situations are resolved. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Absolutely loved this book and the interaction of our characters, Miranda and Bron. Despite their differences, they are drawn together like nothing either of them has experienced. Bron is of the earth/nature and Miranda would prefer to be indoors. What a realization when she discovers how at ease and comfortable she is in the wilderness with him despite having a creature of myth out to hunt her. These two are hot and sexy together and you will love them.
Wow, amazing paranormal elements and a wild adventurous ride deeper into the mystery of the mirror. I think this one is even more emotional than the others in this series so far. After this, I can't even imagine where this is going next but I can't wait to get there. Never a dull moment, every addition gets more bewitching.
I received a free advance copy without obligation and am voluntarily reviewing.
I think I like him the best!! It's mostly cause of what he has control over. Lol she needs 2 decide what 2 do if it's right or wrong with her future and with her boss. She was surprised that Simone would love her 4 who she is instead of what her job is. Even though he scared the hell out of everyone he will hopefully make it up 2 them asap.
I love the King of the Wild! I'm a wild child in my imagination and this was a great adventure/romance. Miranda was pretty cool too, saving the day with sweet stealth moves. I'm kinda glad there's one more book, although I must say that we really didn't get enough in the story to sympathize with this new King of Pain. I'm curious to see how he will redeem himself.
The third installment of the series finds our characters working together with those from the first two books and a storyline with many twists and developments. Love the characters and a very well developed storyline.
The warrior team battles to capture the evil that escaped the mirror. What an adventure that will keep you on your toes. Everyone needs a strong far King in their life. Can't wait to read what happens next.
Well this one was better than the last two. I love these characters best so far. The story was heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time. With a glimps of the last brother I’m not sure I want to start the next book. Oh well here goes. Thanks Tasha.
Another amazing book in the Rosethorn Valley Fae series! I loved the story of Bron and Miranda and how they interacted with Dorian, Sara, Tristan, and Tabitha. The mixture of Fae, minsters, and human characters kept me interested from page one. I am looking forward to reading book 4!
This review is for books 1-3. After reading three books I am quite sure I am missing like a prequel or something. The first book just kind of throws you in. I did enjoy the story and how the romances grew. It was an enjoyable read.
I absolutely loved it! This paranormal/fantasy romance is simply superlicious! Danger, magic, romance and adventure. Tasha Black always more than delivers!
4.5 stars rounded up. The overall plot of this one is great, and though the outcome isn’t all the surprising, the book had me second guessing myself. Which is always fun!
The romance feels a little repetitive in places (Spoilers: this series is three for three with hero pleasures heroine and black ring appearing, hero tells heroine to sleep, they talk about the bond in the morning) but the characters and plot are sufficiently engaging that I’m really curious to see where things are going.
I love it! I'm a little short on time to go into this one. I will say there were some things in the last one the made me wonder about who Miranda's boss really was. It was another keep reading until you find out what comes next! I am already grabbing the next book to see what is going to happen. It was a great book! I'm probably going to reread the whole series again when I finish it just so I can make sure I didn't miss anything, & I liked it that much.
