It’s been two years. Two years since I made the decision to end it all, to give into my darkness forever… Then Adrian saved me. With his love, I took a step from the darkness into the light. We risked it all to be together—family, career, wealth—but we’ve never looked back. We’ve created a fairy-tale beginning to a perfect life together. But I’ll never completely escape my darkness, the depression that whispers in my mind that we can’t stay happy forever. There’s a storm brewing in more ways than one, and our past is coming back to haunt us. Can we make it through the storm together?
First series I’ve read by Lorelei Watson but very well written; Lee, Madeleine and Adrian’s stories were so truthful you just got lost in the story and before I knew it both books had been read! This series covers so many different life issues from mental health to family drama, life it was such a good read. Hopefully there will be a third book covering more of Emily and Lee’s story😊
5 stars for The Devil’s Storm by Lorelai Watson. This is book 2 in The Atwood Legacy Series. I received an ARC of in exchange for an honest review. All opinions stated are my own. I became a fan of Lorelai Watson after reading the first book in this series. I loved the emotion in that book. This book had just as much emotion as the first one. This book is another reason why I will continue to be a fan. This book starts 2 years after book one ended. Maddie and Adrian are together, and I love that. This story is great, and everyone should check it out. You will not disappoint.
Madelyn and Adrian have the perfect chemistry and eventually, like we expected, they end up together. Lorelai brings out the power of love and how someone can bring you from rock bottom and make your life unexpectedly amazing. She did not favor Maddie and Adrian but she also creates a happy ending for Lee and Emily. It's amazing and it shows how powerful love can be, if it's with the right person.
is there going to be a third book?!? I truly loved the Atwood story so much. I loved that, in book 2, we got a lot of story, from the entire main characters. We got Lee’s POV + Adrien’s, and I loved that so much about this series. I loved the growth development of every character and the battles everyone struggled with. I can see myself reading these books again. I loved them so much. I feel like there could easily be a book 3 ;) ;)
