Downsizing Homes is the perfect guide for anyone considering downsizing their home. The author covers every possible concern, issue and fear that might be holding one back from accomplishing this goal. With many personal anecdotes from persons who have downsized to those whose fear held them back, the author creates a positive approach with multiple steps to reach the end goal. Chapters include location (most important), types of homes, dispersing your extra furniture and personal possessions, safety issues, and even includes a discussion on buying vs. renting. As a seasoned real estate broker, the author goes into great detail about the buying process, including seller’s disclosures, mortgage information, taxes and insurance and how to choose the best agent for your needs. If you are one of the millions considering a downsize this book will be a great asset for your journey.
