Vicki is the modern day Communication Whisperer to the Corporate and Business Enterprise utility. Her elegance in writing and meaningful approach to the current climate of the current workplace makes her an employment trend futurist. This is a must read for any organization or business that wants to create a strong culture based ecosystem. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to anyone in the business, corporate leadership and communications arena.
This book will give the reader a solid reference to communicate whether it be written or oral. I did not mind the book and felt that it reinforced ideas and concepts I have learned throughout life. I would suggest that before you read this book you get a copy of Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. Mr. Carnegie brought a lot of the ideas found in this book out in the 1930's and most authors are just rehashing his book in their own words.
This was a surprisingly fabulous book. Professional communication is so important but is - too often - discussed in banal and predictable ways.
This book is clear and concise. Always useful in a communication book! But there is great attention to building teams, resolving conflict, and building with - and for - diversity.
This book opened my eyes in how to improve my communication skills verbally and orally. It is eye opening for one to be more mindful in becoming an active listener. I encourage anyone to buy this book or rent it to improve their communication skills in and out of work.
