Mastering Micrografx Designer 3.1

Rate this book
"Mastering Micrografx Designer 3.1" describes all of Designer's features and commands, from the basic introductory steps to more advanced work with colour separations and slide shows. It begins by describing the different types of computer art programmes and what they can do, and progresses through a discussion of the type of hardware needed. The book then introduces the simplest commands first, allowing the users to get a feel for the programme by importing and modifying the clip art that is included with Designer. Later, when the users are comfortable with all the important editing commands, the book shows them how to draw their own art. The users also learn how to carry out more advanced commands, allowing them to output the finished product to printers, slide recorders, and plotters, to use Designer's built-in telecommunications application to send the artwork to a print shop, and to produce onscreen slide presentations. It is aimed at all classes of Micrografx Designer users. The early stages of the book will help all users to master the basic drawing, editing and importing commands, while the later sections will show the serious user how to turn the finished product into professional prints, slides, and onscreen presentations.
