This is really good with principles approaching scripture from the reading of the literal sense to the mystical/spiritual sense. Some of the deep dives into the mystical sense of some of the parables are pure gold.

This is a little gem of a book. It is a deep (and I do mean deep) dive into the parables and conversations of Jesus. Parables are the main way Jesus chose to teach - so it behooves us to understand what he was trying to tell us. This is not a dry tome where the author is analyzing the Greek, rather it is as if we have our own spiritual guide who is whispering into our ears as Jesus teaches with the parables. It's as if we are there, and get a true, deep, and beautiful invitation into the message of Jesus. I found it very easy to read, but I forced myself to read it slowly, as there were things I wanted to take to prayer on every other page. Highly recommend!

A truly incredible book that opens your eyes and reveals the miraculous depth of sacred Scripture and the words of Jesus Christ. I have read many theological books but this is such a captivating read, if you have ever been fascinated by the words and parables of Jesus, this book is for you as it shows the amazing levels and meanings behind the words of our Lord. Thought this was a great book that broke down the parables and conversations of Jesus. I thought I understood what was being said in these parables, but wow, this book takes you deeper making connections I was never aware of. I'll certainly never look at the parables in the same way after reading this book. Great book to read during your prayer time.
