God's hand can be seen in lives who look to Him for guidance, peace and joy. Gratitude for God's little whispers in our lives is shown and encouraged.

The author honestly shares incidents from her life, including her painful childhood, and relates how God met her in the midst of her troubles. She offers hope and help to those who face similar difficulties. The twenty reflective chapters each contain five entries. Many chapter titles begin with the words “You Are.” She reminds readers “You Are Not Forsaken,” “You Are Cared For,” etc. The chapters are arranged into five sections: “Recognize Who You Are,” “Remember God’s Promises,” “Release Negative Influence,” “Rejoice with Thanksgiving,” and “Reward for Believing.” The entries could be read one each weekday for twenty weeks or however you like. I read several chapters at a time. This inspirational material will touch your heart. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.

I love it! I'm normally not interested in devotional but this one is SO relatable and gives you space to consider those deeper issues within ourselves and have those conversations with God. An incredible tool to promote growth.
