This was such a great read with so many amazing stories about the power of educating girls, but also the tough and sometimes unpleasant realities of trying to change the world for the better. I really appreciated Nicky’s honesty as she revealed the hardships she and the organisation had to go through and still probably happen now, and recommend any person thinking of doing such work read this book to learn some lessons so you don’t have to experience these issues yourself! Nicky is also an excellent writer, which helped me fly through the pages while learning some important facts and reflecting on my own actions and place in the world.
