بسم الله توكلنا على الله... أول كتاب في 2023 📚

الكتاب كويس، و فيه نصائح ربما مكررة لكن مرتبة بشكل مختلف و سهل، استمعت إليه على قناة اليوتيوب:

Seems like anyone can slap neuroscience on a self-help book and call it a day. I was giving the audiobook a listen while doing some chores and an hour of a 4-hour book in there were no real discussions about neuroscience or any hard science of Self-discipline. It was filled with nauseating truisms on discipline and romanticizing (questionable) historical figures and comparing them to the underachievers and the mediocre of society in such a pretentious way. You could tell the author almost had a contempt for the people who couldn't pull themselves up by the bootstrap

Could have been a blog post. Also, zero neuroscience included. These self help books are getting annoying with their bait titles

If to be goal driven, and obtain the outcomes for life's vision. Then this book is a good start in that direction. Although, this book is not a deep dive into the neuroscience as expected. I did find the steps given are spot -on and helpful.

I can’t bring myself to finish it, it’s just full of “you can do it, now do it” bullshits. Superficial, uninteresting and time-wasting.

Maybe I have read too many self-improvement books but I didn't find anything too incremental. The points made are well understood or at least the principles covered in the book feel that way.

basically one of those books that are written in order to promote a more expensive service, kind of click bait in book format?

Really shows the importance of discipline, but one will surely slack if one does not have a meaningful life which will motivate them to be disciplined.
