I have read and reviewed several books by this author, and I have had similar problems with each of them. The author's writing style is dense and convoluted most of the time. It feels as though it were written in another language and translated into English, which is fine. The writer, though, should have their manuscript vetted by a native English speaker, if not copyedited or proofread by one, so that language can be smoothed and made more comprehensible for the native English speakers who, I imagine, are the intended readers. As this book clearly did not have that, it has many errors of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage. Combined with a very heavy writing style, at times the writer's statements are hard to parse. You can tell that he has a passion for the topic, and the better parts of the book are where he explains his own experience with astral projection. The author misuses several important words. He talks about “astral somnambulism” and refers to the astral body as a “ghost.” Somnambulism literally means “sleepwalking”; I don't think you can astrally sleepwalk! If astral projection is going to happen, let's hope the astral body is, indeed, awake, aware, and fully cognizant of what is going on!
Here's an example of the awkward writing, where the author compares astral projection to death (errors included): “Astral exteriorization somewhat resembles another phenomenon—what is called the “outcome of the soul” at the time of death, in the way the ghost behaves. The outcome of the soul simply means the transition of a finer body from a position of coincidence with the physical.” I can kind of understand some of that, but parts remain a bit opaque for me!
If you have an interest in astral projection, I recommend a more easy to understand and actionable book.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
