Outer Space: Problems Of Law And Policy

Rate this book
This book examines the international and domestic American legal problems associated with activity in outer space from a strong policy perspective, with particular attention given to problems associated with space commercialization and with military activities in outer space. Outer Problems of Law and Policy is indispensable as a casebook, reference, and self-teaching tool for students, practitioners, academics, and members of the aerospace industry.

A decent compilation of the relevant issues, but those interested will be better served by either a more up to date text, such as Professor Lyall and Larsen's Space Law, or the authoritative texts by Bin Cheng Studies in International Space Law or Manfred Lachs The Law of Outer Space - An Experience in Contemporary Law-Making. A good text for its treatment from the American perspective, and with attention to related issues such as the Nuclear Test Ban treaty.
