I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

A winner takes all kind of bet....where she is the greatest prize of all forever
Becker is the third book in the GAMES-Diamond Ridge Mountain Men series and is the story of Dr. Becker Lowell and Gabrye Shaw.
Becker has come to Elk River Diamond Ridge to attend the wedding of his younger sister Teagan to Aiden. He is also the grandson of Grandma Rosie, who is still quite the fun loving and eccentric character who we got to know in the book Aiden. Becker lives in Denver where is has a private practice with a couple other doctor's in the same clinic. Six months ago his best friend Danny, a pediatric cardiologist, was killed when a truck ran a red light and smashed Becker has been there for Danny's widow Raylee and has not gotten past Danny's death or blaming himself for it, as Danny had stopped by the clinic to talk but Becker had not taken time as he was busy. He thinks that if he had just taken a few minutes then Danny would not have been in that intersection. Becker has decided that he needs to get away and start fresh somewhere else and after being in Diamond Ridge and seeing how happy Teagan was he has decided to move to town.
Gabrye Shaw is thirty-two years old and owns the cupcake/dessert shop in town. She is also the granddaughter of Sam Shaw and Aidan's oldest and best friend. But she also harbors a dark secret from her first marriage to the son of the town "family" Stone Carlton. Gabrye has come to a decision in that the town holds too many bad memories of Stone and she needs to start over somewhere else. She has come up with a plan as she can sell the bakery and already has an interview in Seattle.
Gabrye is providing the cupcakes for Adien and Teagan'e wedding and it is there that Becker first lays eyes on her. And boy does he every like what he sees. As he wonders if she tastes as sweet and her treats he ends up making a fool of himself when he meets her.........."foot meet mouth" syndrome it is called. When Grandma Rosie pulls Aiden into a game of poker against the SOB Sam Shaw Gabrye decides to get in on the action also. There are a couple sides bets that raise the stakes and make things more interesting. Aiden bets on his "forever" future with Gabrye or whether she will take him home for just one night and Rosie and Shaw bet on whether she goes on a date with him or he joins the Nekkid Posse for their annual streak through town. The cards are dealt for a game of Texas Hold 'Em and it definitely turns interesting. Who will win and who will lose?
This is a wonderfully sweet, funny, romantic and very sexy story with an interesting story-line and well developed characters. It made me laugh out loud and shed a tear. But in the end I had a big smile on my face as I read what I would call an Epic Epilogue!!!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the GAMES-Diamond Ridge Mountain Men series. In this book. Becker is attending his sister's wedding and tells her he is going to move to the Diamond Ridge Mountains. Becker is a doctor and recently lost his best friend in an accident. When Becker was at the wedding, he saw Gabrye, and was very attracted to her, but was warned by his new brother-in-law he better not break her heart. Becker went to talk to Gabrye and his grandmother interrupted them to ask them to play poker with her. Becker asked Gabrye if she was interested in a side bet between them. Becker told her if she won, he was hers for the night and if he won, she was his forever. They played poker and Becker told Gabrye she won, even though he did and they went to her house. Gabrye liked Becker, but she couldn't go through with a one night stand. Becker told her he would be there and there was no rush because he was moving to town. Gabrye had decided to leave town because the town held too many bad memories of her ex. Now Gabrye had to decide if she could stay and take a chance on love with Becker. I really enjoyed this book. I liked Becker, he was a great guy and never pressured Gabrye into doing anything she didn't want to. Becker also thought Gabrye deserved to be treated better and was going to be sure she got everything she ever wanted. This was another great one from Brynn.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Becker is book three in the ‘’diamond ridge mountain man’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. This story is Gabrye’s story who we briefly met in book two. Becker is a physician that has just moved back to his hometown. When Becker meets his brother in laws best friend, he is instantly attracted to her. Gabrye wants love but after being burnt by it in the past, she is very wary. Will she give love a chance?
The chemistry between Becker and Gabrye is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought that they made a cute couple.
I liked Becker but he irritated me when he kept getting/calling Gabrye by the wrong name.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Becker is a doctor and he is in town for his sister's wedding. He meets Gabrye at the wedding she sells cupcakes and Becker is drawn to her. His granny and her grand dad are playing poker and his granny wants his help to take him down. Gabrye hears this is joins the game. Each couple has a side bet because they are playing for personal things. Becker is playing for a chance to be with Gabrye not just for a night but forever. They end up sharing an amazing night together but when someone from her past reappears she starts thinking about moving away just as Becker is thinking of moving there. Can Becker convince her to stay and give him a chance to make her happy?
This is a great story that will hook you in from the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Such a fun but heartfelt read! I loved Becker - his passion, his patience, his heartache, but most of all his willingness to change his life. And Gabrye has hidden depths. Yes she's loving and considerate and feisty, but her heart has been broken and learning to trust again is difficult. But what fun to see them come together, all the while getting to visit with previous characters! What makes all of this series, all of Brynn Hale's stories, so wonderful is the hope at the heart of each story. They are all fun and sexy and sweet, but more than that, they give us the dream. Fighting through our demons and insecurities, we can have not a perfect love, but a love that's perfect for us. These are all stories to read again and again.

This is another great book in this short fun series where the books take less than an hour to read But believe me you aren't short changed with the length Brynn is a master at this genre and manages to pack a lot of emotion into such a short book

"Gabrye Shaw’s lived in the Diamond Ridge Mountains her whole life. Dr. Becker Lowell’s practice is doing well in Denver, but he’s struggling with life after a tragedy happened." This was very good. Story was well written. Characters were well developed, and detailed. Both Gabrye and Becker need to move on from their tragic pasts. I found this quick, sassy, tragic, funny, witty, and steamy. Grandma Rosie and grandpa Sam Shaw are a hoot. They keep things lively. I recommend this.

This is a short and sweet story with two people trying to move on from the past. Becker and Gabrye have their own demons to battle but they can’t seem to stay away from each other. It’s up to Gabrye to let her fear go. I loved Becker and how understanding he was and it doesn't hurt that their chemistry was smoking.

A sweet and romantic story about two people, hardened by previous experiences and a unhealthy relationship, that found their HEA. Gabrye was hurt before and wouldn't want to dive back in, in a new relationship but Becker fought for her and her love ❤ A sweet and romantic story without drama and safe👍👍👍

Becker is tired of having life pass him by. Gabrye was burned once and is twice shy. Will she give them a chance before it is too late?
Loved this quick inta-love read. I loved how Becker put himself out there, but wasn't going to force her. I loved when she allowed herself to fall. Good read!

Becker takes one look at Gabrye and sees a potential sweet treat but thanks to events in their lives neither one can see that sometimes the whole dessert is much sweeter than just one portion.

Sweet short story about Gabrye who has been hurt badly by her emotionally and verbally abusive ex husband and Becker who is still healing from the grief of losing his best friend. Gabrye thinks she is ready to sleep with Becker but gets scared and backs out, he understands and lets her go. They keep running into each other and decide to try again. This time they succeed. But deciding she needs a change she doesn’t want to pursue a relationship with Backer. He gives her space and tells her he will be her friend. They talk and she realizes, with the help of her grandpa, that Becker is a good guy and she should give them both a chance to be happy. Cute epilogue with a wedding.

Becker knew he wanted Gabrye but she had been burned in the past.
She kept her walls up but Becker broke them down slowly. She slowly let him him.

Wow,a great book!
I think I fell in love with Becker but so glad it was Gabrye that got him. They both had tragedy in their lives. I say not even though her tragedy was her ex-husband. Really enjoyed reading this story, thank you. Written by Cindy.

Life is hard. It’s also full of complications and pain. Gabrye has to learn how to love herself before she can love another. She thinks by moving away she’ll be able to move on. But Becker shows her to just let go and to enjoy each and every moment. Sweet and romantic story.
