⚡ The Flash (2011) #5 – “Lights Out”
After the Mob Rule arc, the book slows down a bit—but in a good way. We see Barry try to live a normal life, even as he investigates a mysterious EMP blackout in Central City. The issue explores the world’s growing dependence on technology, contrasting it with Barry’s very human struggles.
There’s also subtle foreshadowing of a new villain—Captain Cold—setting up the next big conflict.
