a pithy collation of wise words from a lesser known yet faithful 20th Century 'Reformer', who stood with Greshem Machen, then on his own, against the Liberals & Modernists in PCUSA in the 1920s. He made a difference early on and set the clear line of separation - this has been life-saving for many Bible-believing Presbyterians today who trace their roots to his work.
in this collection, the fire, sharp discernment & fearless spirit is so palpable & convicting. I was awakened to the reality of the spiritual battle once again and the need to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints, to beware of grievous wolves who have already crept in unawares.

in terms of layout, the thematic organisation and simple bold-normal contrast is helpful.
