Rate this book
While doing auditing/consulting and training in the field of QMS, EMS, OHSAS, and IATF; I observed that the organizations has implemented the system and got the required certification like ISO 9000, ISO14000, IATF 16949 etc. But during interaction with the peoples, who are performing actual work, it is observed that very few peoples are aware of the basic concepts of the quality management system, environment management system and other system requirements. There are few exceptions also this i especially observed in small and medium scale industries. The reasons may be anything by doing this they gets the certificate but the basics are not clear. the typical answer is, whatever is asked by the management we are doing that only i.e. merely they are maintaining records, in other words they are generating papers wastes, they are not aware what to do with this data , how to analyses this data, how to identified the lacunas and initiate corrective/preventive actions ,and after some days, management says ,” we are not getting the results out of the system certification “ the ISO 9000 standard is not useful but they get the certification s because we peoples ( auditors) only rely on paper work . In order to cope up with this i tried to explain, in short, the very basic processes of the quality management system. The processes explained are useful for implementing ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and IATF system certification in your organization.
